BEST archery arrow target in the market!!!!
I have invested a-lot of time and money finding the right target, this is the one at a great price. I have spend over 250.00 dollars on one target and the face fell apart within a month of usage, also the target was very noisy and arrows insert tip where loosing in the process of arrow removal. The BLOCK target is light, the face is very strong, easy arrow removal, very quiet, and build to last..... (i own five Block targets and stopped using all the targets i have invested in). Stop searching, this is the target for all level of archery.

Works Great So Far
I have had it a week. Shooting my crossbow into it and a buddy has used it for his bow. Stops my Barnett Ghost 350 with field point or broadheads. At 20 yards it does go through about 2-4 inches but it does stop it without tearing the block up. Once I get the Arrow to break free it slides out easily.23Jan2013 After reading a bad review on here I thought I would update my review. The guy must not have read my short review as he was upset that the crossbow bolt went through the target. if you check out the picture I posted with the product you will see the bolt from a Barnett Ghost 350 will bury to the quills with the broadhead sticking out the other side. This target works by by the bolt/arrow causing friction which heats up the plastic in the target which gets sticky and slows the bolt/arrow. Once the plastic cools off it is easier to get the bolt/arrow out. I have to twist or push the bolt/arrow to get it broken free. If the target has cooled off the arrow will then slide out easily. I usually shoot three, walk down and start removing the first as it has cooled down by then. Taking the broadhead off does make it easier to remove the bolt/arrow. I have pulled the quills through without damaging them but I can see how they could be damaged doing this.Try avoid hitting the edges of the target as it will cut the band which hold the layers together. There is also plywood on some of the sides. The target has held up great to my crossbow and my buddies bow.

Great target!
I use this for my indoor range which is only 12 yards (gotta work with what ya got) and it works great. I’m shooting a Matthews V3 55# shooting 400 spine arrows and this target stops the arrows wonderfully. The only time my arrows slightly come out the other side is if they go through a spot that’s been hit many many times, but that can be said for any target. I will say that while it can handle broadheads, I’m not sure I would recommend it. They definitely tear up the foam a fair amount and will push through a fair amount out the back; with my set up I saw about 6-7 inches of arrow hanging out the back after shooting the target with a broad head on. Super satisfied!

nice product
this is a great target. ive had it for a week now and ive been shooting into it non stop. ive probably shot about 300 shots into it at least within the time that ive had it and it still hasnt done much wear and tear to it. i use field points for target practice but i also use some broadheads and it can really take the hits. its very lightweight and easy to carry around. the shipping was fast it was here within 3 days of ordering the product.i would have given it a 5 star rating but there are these pieces of plywood on 4 sides of it on the top, bottom, left and right of the target. u can only shoot at 2 sides (the front and the back of it) and when u hit the wood it makes your arrows ricochet. ive shot multiple times where it would just bounce off the top or sides of the target and the arrow would fly in random directions which is very dangerous. just be careful.other than that minor detail, it is a good product that im very sure will last me a long time. it can take a lot of arrows no problem, and u can probably take out that plywood and modify it somehow but at this price u shouldnt have to. there are other targets at this price range that can take hits from all sides of the target but i like this block. i have a good feeling that it will last me a very long time.

recurve shooting: after 3,000 shots still holding up fairly well
I've been shooting this target around 50 shots daily for a couple months now with a #44 and #55 pound bows with field-tip arrowheads. So if added up I'd say I've shot this thing roughly 3,000 times so far. It's showing wear and the arrows are starting to come out the other side in places that I've shot more than others (mainly the center of the target).PULLING ARROWS OUT: When you hit closer to the edges it's a little harder but not bad at all. I've shot other targets that have more of a canvas cover and they seems to get stuck a bit at the head of the arrow, which to me seems a bit annoying. This one does not do that at all, they pull out very smoothly. If you hit the very top or bottom of the target you might hit the wood frame, even if you do this, it is still not hard to get the arrows out, and I've yet to damage any arrows hitting this and would be surprised at this point if they ever would get damaged.THE BACK/ BLANK SIDE: I thought at first the back side being blank was that they were just being cheap. Although now I love the fact that there's nothing on the back side. I make small marks with chalk and shoot at them instead of the bigger circles on the front. I shoot "instinctively" with no sites and they say "aim small group small" so this blank side works out great for that!DEFINITELY RECOMMEND: I am guessing that I will get another 3,000 shots out of it before the arrows are flying right through it (6,000 total or so). So for the price and the amount of shots, ease of pulling the arrows out how light it is I would definitely recommend this at least for traditional bows.
