Glass Treatment & Rain Repellent

Buy the Acquapel glass cleaner also. Use both products and the screen acts like one on a new car. The rain beads and runs off at speed. You rarely need the wipers. Also, no streaks and better vision at night. The effect lasts 12 months or more. Really good stuff!

Others report great success with this product. My experience was horrible. The coating turned to something akin to thin chewing gum. The windshield wipers left heavy streaking. Nothing would remove this gunk from my windshield, and I tried normal cleaners, Windex, alcohol, and special heavy duty glass cleaners, all to no avail. Most recently, I've gone over the windshield with a clay bar paint cleaner, which did some good. One more clay bar treatment and maybe it will all be gone. Meanwhile, I think it ruined my brand-new Bosch Ikon wiper blades.Maybe I didn't put this stuff on right. So if you use it, follow the directions and don't cut corners.

I've been a Rain-X guy for many years. Didn't like to have to apply every second month. Thought I would try the Aquapel, suppose to be on par for rain beading off, but last 6 months. I bought a couple applications that seemed to be a good deal. Applied the Aquapel and it barely beaded the rain off @ 100 km/h.I know Rain-X starts to bead @ 60-70 km/h and cost the fraction of Aquapel.I'll stick with Rain-X

No instructions came with the product. Had to go on internet for instructions. Won't buy again.

Apuapel or RainX appears to last about the same amount of time. After using both, I would get the best priced between the two.

California has been in an almost continuous downpour the last few months and this Aquapel rain repellent has really made a difference in keeping our windshield rain-free and our car rides safe.

Product did not work at all for me. I applied just as the instructions said (I had to find instructions online - the product did not come in the original package, thus it had no instruction at all) and my glass looks worse than it did before I applied. I buffed it out until it was clear, it is just super spotty after water hits it.

Shipping was fast the product just sucks it came off after my first wash
