This light is perfect for make-up application and pictures. I'm really pleased with this purchase.This tri-pod has everything you need. A universal phone holder that rotates fully through landscape to portrait.The ring light is on a ball joint so can be rotated in all directions and in to the perfect angle you need.The light itself has the option of 3 shades of lighting ( day light, warm white and bright white) all three of these can then be set on high, medium or low level light depending on what you need.These controls are easy to use and easily accessible on a switch on the cable.The stand is fully extendable so can be used stood on the floor or a table depending on your set up.The tripod can easily be dismantled and stored in the carry bag provided.I would definitely recommend this item.k

This is a good buy if you're looking for a small ring light for beauty videos or other extreme closeup work. It might also be handy for applying makeup or shaving, for instance when travelling. It's neat and lightweight, and offers eight levels of brightness and three colour temperature settings. It's powered from USB so you'll need to plug in into a mains adaptor (not supplied), a computer or a battery pack. Cable length is a generous 2 m and the control buttons are easy to use. Each of the three colour modes retains its own brightness setting.The tripod is flimsy but just about OK to support the light and a mobile phone. If you are working at a table the tripod will probably be too high, even with the legs retracted. In that case a small tabletop tripod would be better.While recording video I wasn't initially impressed with how it looked on my phone screen. But viewed on a full-size screen the results are more flattering. It's definitely good for reducing shadows around your eyes.In my opinion – and I'm no expert – a unit this size is only good for close-up work. At longer distances the light will be too directional and also not bright enough compared to a larger ring light (say 18 inch) or a rectangular LED panel. It certainly won't work for "live broadcast" as claimed. But if the budget is tight it's definitely better than nothing.I bought this item on the promise of a full refund in return for this review.

This is a serious piece of kit for such a low price... I am working from home for the past year, as are my colleagues, a few of whom ordered this ring light. Slowly, we have all been converted, mainly by seeing the difference between those of us who didn’t have it and those who did. You would imagine that having more light focused directly on you would make those long meetings harder to endure, but it actually makes you look so much better. It has three different shades, and lots of different strengths. It’s very solid, comes with a phone holder and is quite pretty with a modern industrial vibe, so it looks good in the corner of my sitting room. It comes with a lovely little travel case too, sadly, I won’t be using that anytime soon...

It was great until the other day it completely broke and fell apart and the light and stand can no longer be attached. I’d like a refund if possible as I payed a lot of money for this and expected it to last more than two three months. Other than it being delicate I’d say it did me a good job and I really loved it I would buy another one but I feel like the same would happen again and I would rather just have my money back.

I’ve wanted to buy a light like this for a while now and I’m so glad I did. It’s great for taking photos, videos,FaceTime and any other time you need so more even light (I even unused it for jigsaw puzzles) It’s very bright, with three different intensities and shades. It’s definitely sturdy enough to use the tripod extended at home, not sure about outside in the wind but in general if you want a good light for selfies this is great.

I love how easy and simple this was to put together I think the little carry bag is a great touch to keep the item stored away, however I think or any new item to arrive damaged is unacceptable. I would have liked the option to message the seller privately but this isn’t an option. I do have an option to return the product but because this is damaged due to no fault of my own I don’t think I should have to pay the postage to return the product. My ring light has a large crack at the top and one of my tripod legs are heavily dented and scratched. I understand this is a low priced ring light in comparison to others on the market but I don’t expect any new item to arrive damaged and not have a replacement sent in its place for a swap of the original product or a refund where possible

I like this some much ,now pictures and videos are like pro😁I use this to record facebook live and take nice and very bright pictures, I see no fault with it ,I come with a usb cable so you will need an adapter which all we have with our phones so shouldn't be a big problem ,unless you want to charge your phone when recording..apart from that work as described above it is a table top one so bare that in mind.

Good ring light with multiple light settings which provide lots of options when being used. The tri-pod is quite weak and cheaply built it does the job but will be easily broken. The legs on mine were stuck and hard to get out as slightly bent. The phone holder does not allow fitting the phone directly in the middle of the ring and will not hold a tablet.
