La Passione

The sounds on this cd are, at moments lush, passionate, and poignant. What a gift for the senses. Upon purchase, I played a couple of the purely orchestral selections for my wife, a music major with a trained ear. I asked her who wrote these pieces and she replied, "sounds like Ennio Morricone." She was right. And for anyone familiar with Morricone's catalog, this is high praise. For anyone, but especially anyone who is a Rea fan, don't miss this one.

As i review why I gave 5 stars for this CD and listening. Well, if there were 100 stars to give for this CD Mr. Rea would receive ALL of them. I would love to see the movie.

Rea writes orchestral show tunes and actually does them well. I'm starting to think that he's a musical genius.

Great musician and a great album

Great album DVD set. Love love love Chris Rea.

I'm a hard core Rea fan, but there are other of his works that I much prefer. . . As usual, his music is well done, but this doesn't get my heartstrings to vibrating like some of his other music.

Sehr schöne Lieder,aber auch die Musik, passt sehr gut zu dem Film.

Chris Rea is to my taste, always music is to individual taste.

I bought this red box set, and I reviewed it and you guys keep on sending me messages to review it again and again. It's sealed because it's a collectable item, I have the CD that I purchased in 1996 and what this CD has and what the box set doesn't its Shirley Bassey, and Chris Rea singing a duet, ; Shirley do you own a Ferrari ? Why Chris Rea left this song out, is a mystery to me and all his Fan's He didn't leave the Shirley Bassey song out of the single CD, he left the song out of the red box set.
