Bobbbi Brown has pretty much nailed it with her book Everything Eyes. She includes just enough professional cheats to feel you’ve gotten your money’s worth and even includes lots of illustrations. Thank you Bobbi Brown!

This is a wonderful book that taught me quite a bit about eye make-up. The samples are easy to follow, and it's great for both everyday and for special occasions. Great book!!

This book does have good advice. The information on how to select frames was great. I was hoping for more suggestions for how to compensate for the optics of glasses.

Pictures are great. The information is simple enough to give you courage to try some of her recommendations. However, all the models look 35 and under. Those of us who are 35 and older, could of used some ideas on how to look our best as well. Do we use simmer or not, what about lining the whole eye, is black too strong/bold a color for us, what about heavy lids, or smokey eye techniques for more mature women? I feel we, of a certain age, were forgotten or short changed. An interesting book could have been outstanding for all age groups if it hadn't missed the mark.

I have read everything Bobbi Brown has written and keep her books close buy on my bookshelf, to re read again and again. This book is just an extension of her beauty concept of being petty and powerful. Teaches eye makeup technique to looking pretty. There are so many makeovers, that anyone can find a eye look that works for them. Not a fashion shoot look. A daily look, polished and current. I think anything she writes is worth at least one read, or more.I got this book as a kindle sample book. And subsequently bought the book. The screen resolution on my kindle is better than the actual book., Who would have thunk it.

Pretty disappointing book. Very redundant with many sections almost word for word repeated from Brown’s other book Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual. I would recommend buying that book over this one as it has a few additional tips on things like foundation and concealer. Overall, this book is sparse on makeup instruction and full of lots of rehashed beauty advice on diet/sleep/etc. I was hoping for helpful instruction from a professional on building beautiful and interesting eye makeup, but I finished the book having learned basically nothing more than I knew.

I'm a makeup artist and am always looking for good books to advance my skills or to just get a refresher. I really enjoyed this book and how it broke down certain things like eye shapes, colors and even the best ingredients for specific eye concerns. Some of the looks were great but there was also a good amount of them that I didn't care for our see my clients caring for. It also had quite a large section on eye looks for glasses which I don't see in a lot of books like this. Overall it was a great addition to my collection.

Books was very helpful. I can never get enough Bobbi! So happy she shares. This is a great resource for anyone interested in creating "their" signature look

This little book doesn't lie it shows you all the eyeshadow designs colours structures Contours highlights low lights different colours colours as eyeliners it shows you everything it shows you what colours go good together shows you what to do for different eyes for hooded eyes for hooded eyes born with normal eyes putting eyelashes on doing your eyebrows just doing everything that's what this book provides Amazon Prime provided once again the cellar delivered and I received Everything went perfect thanks everyone everything went great and my eyes look better every day by the way the books worth the money

I am very happy with this purchase.I am maybe 1/3 through reading the book and I find it very informative.Brushes: There are so many brushes on the market. Bobbi breaks it down to the essential ones to have and what exactly to look for and describes in which cases we go with natural or synthetic brushes. This was very helpful.Eyebrows: she does say to go to a pro for the first shaping. However, I think this is very sound advice. I take more care to brush my brows to a nice shape, as I now realise that they can look messy.Eyeliner: great advice on how to apply eye liner, the different types and what effect they all create. This changed the way I apply eyeliner to the better.Shades: advice on how to minimise on colours you carry with you/use, if that is something you look to do. Great advice on how to apply shades for a daytime look or for evening.Look-book: there are many more looks than I thought there would be. I was super happy with this and using the basic eye techniques earlier in the book, these can all be achieved.Further, Bobbi goes on to define different eye types and how to apply the make-up for your eye shape, same for the face shape.Glasses: This is a very helpful section for me, who uses glasses, on how to make eyes pop while in specs. Also has a section on how to pick glasses for your face shape (which we define earlier in the book).I love this book and can recommend warmly.
