Smart snacks start with fairlife's ultra-filtered milk. We blend that milk with real honey and a little bit of oat flour to deliver a satisfying snack.

Great taste!
Since I needed more protein in my diet, I tried these. The smaller size makes it perfect for an afternoon snack. The taste is superior to other protein drinks, more like a milkshake. Both the chocolate and vanilla are equally yummy. The price seems to vary quite a bit and I have gotten them when the price goes down. When the price is very low, it often means a shorter time to the ābest by date.ā I have always had at least a month even at the lowest price. Taste and size is perfect for a Grandma needing more protein.

Great taste, extra protein our son loves
We started on these as our 7-year old son doesn't have much of an appetite at breakfast, and we wanted him to get a meal substitute, especially one with extra protein. He loves them, never complains, and has steadily improved his weight and height percentile, which is a general concern for us with him.

Tasty, quick way to get some nutrients
I...am not a breakfast person. Neither are my kids, really. So on those mornings when we're rushing out the door without time for me to insist that they "need to eat SOMETHING", I'm always looking for something tasty enough for them to utilize, but healthy enough for me to be satisfied. Thus far, this is a winner. The kids usually have instant breakfast by a company named after a flower. In comparing these two products, this one has less sugar and more protein. Basically, the numbers were flipped, and that makes my mama heart happy. In the vitamin department, this one lags a bit - but since we eat regular, mostly healthy meals other than breakfast, that's not a deal-breaker for me.I have also found myself reaching for one of these in the morning - I drink it while my tea cools. It's works well, and I feel at least marginally better than I've gotten something in my system other than just the tea.Overall, I do prefer these, and will probably work on keeping them in stock in the house. Our rule is, typically, these are not to be used regularly - just on those days when truly finding time to have anything else is just got going to happen. So having a small stock of these on hand shouldn't break the bank, but will help keep them from starving during 1st period.

Five Stars from the Grandkids; 2 Stars if You Remember "Real" Chocolate Milk ...
If you remember the rich, creamy chocolate milk of yesteryear, "fairlife smart snacks, Rich Chocolate" is anything but "rich chocolate". To me, this beverage was watery and the odd taste the honey sweetening imparted was unpleasant - I didn't like it. Further, the high sugar content and calorie count - 11 grams of sugar and 170 calories - pert 8-ounce serving were not "smart". However, the 15 grams of protein was good, it was almost twice the protein contained in 2% milk.Nevertheless, my grandchildren thought this was the best beverage in my refrigerator - of course, they get no other drinks than milk and water ⦠Thus, they have no experience with the rich, creamy taste of "real chocolate milk". If, as I suspect, most children today also miss out on the real thing and parents are looking for a treat, "fairlife smart snacks, Rich Chocolate" might fill the bill.
