This hose works great for my need of draining & filling whenever I need to clean out my fish tank! In my home I have a 29 gallon aquarium for my underwater pets & instead of having to make such a chore out of cleaning my aquarium as I have normally have had to do numerous times in the past; I now just use this hose to keep from having to make several trips back & forth with buckets full of water. Now all I do is just use this hose to eliminate those excessive trips. When I want to drain the water I run one end of the hose right into a drain in my restroom & on the other end of the hose I connect a suction gadget that sucks out all the dirty water from the aquarium & when I'm done cleaning my aquarium & I am ready to fill it with clean water again; I attach the suction gadget to the end of the hose that's already in the bathroom to pump clean water through & I place the other end of the hose back into the aquarium again to fill it with clean water & once my aquarium's full I add a little water treatment conditioner to remove that unwanted chlorine that's known to be in all tap water & after that I return my animals back to their aquarium & I'm done..

i have a summer garden in my backyard. i use the vinyl tubing to detect the level of the water in my 7 rain barrel that i have in my backyard. i collect rain water for my garden, this how i water my garden AND THIS IS WHAT I AM DOING WITH THE VINYL TUBING. THANK - YOU
