Perfect fit for my Jeep Cherokee
My heater valve cracked and began a slow leak, I parked it and searched for the part and found this part that was identical and not too much money. Literally took me about 15 mins to replace and top off my coolant as you will lose about 10oz.

Quality part
I like that this part looks identical to the original, has the exact same fitment, but is clearly made from better materials. My Jeep is a 1996 XJ Sport 4.0l and the valve only started leaking recently. But broke in pieces when removing the hoses. New valve installed should last longer than the original.

Works on 1996 Cherokee
Had a broken vacuum line going to the original heater valve causing a vacuum leak.Fixed the vacuum line which allowed the original heater valve to close with the AC on. When it closed, coolant started leaking from the valve shaft. (Great) Tried tightening its screws on either side of the shaft which slowed the leak to a constant drip. This one seems to be a slightly different design so I hope it lasts longer. So far so good.
