Necessity for modern laptops and pad computers - Smart design
I recently had to upgrade the hard drive in my Thinkpad Yoga 11e, and the only way to do it successfully was to create a backup hard drive image and then have a bootable repair disc. I bought this to burn the repair disc and then boot from it. Success! I'm loving this! It is very lightweight, and the design allows you to strap down the USB cord to the bottom of the drive when not in use. I'm going to keep it in my laptop bag from now on!

Cant say enough good things about this.
I have old CDs that were used to store data from several computers ago [going back at least 10 years], and needed to look for a particular item. This not only helped me use the old disks to pull data from, but it's barely noticeable on top of my CPU tower. I was amazed at how easy this was to use. I highly recommend it.

Not Apple friendly?
It doesn't like to be fast forwarded or rewinded whilst playing, this causes the curser to spin and spin for ages. Best to stop the video and fast forward or rewind. It works but not very efficiently

I was very disappointed in that this did not work at all with my new MacBook Air. Nevertheless I returned it and was refunded my money. I only gave it one star for value since it did not work. If it worked, I would have given it 5 stars.
