Product not working was my fault
REVISED REVIEW: It turns out that the second time I used this, I did not follow the instructions. I reread them a few times and found out what I was doing wrong. Remember to set the back of the controller for each remote plug. The product works well and is very handy, Customer Service did contact me and was helpful. This product is still not listed on ankuoo's website, and I didn't see any customer support contacts there.

This is pretty nice to use.
So there are several reasons why I gave this 5 stars:1. The price is relatively cheap compare to other markets out there. $9.992. This is not Wi-Fi outlet and it is a good thing if you are worried about cybersecurity.3. I dont know for sure but it seems to me, you can control 16 outlets individually with one remote.Instruction:First, set the code adjustment which is at two places: outlet and remote. They both need to match each other.(Remote has it on back. Outlet has it on the top left corner at the back.Second, set the channel adjustment to the outlet which are individual channel. (The channel adjustment is below the code adjustment.)Finally, plug and play. Thats all it is.Example A:So for example, if you want to use outlet A to turn on the lamp and outlet B to turn on the light using same remote.Set Remote to 1 then Go to Outlet A and Outlet B then set them to 1 (top left ) <-- this is code adjustmentThen set the Outlet A to 1 and set the outlet B to 2 for the channel adjustment (below the code adjustment)Press 1 for Outlet A and Press 2 for Outlet BExample B:You want to turn on TV (outlet A) and lamp (outlet B) at the same time with one button using one remote.Set Remote to 1, Set outlet A to 1, outlet B to 1 (Left top) <---- code adjustmentSet channel adjustment for Outlet A and B to 1 (below code adjustment) <---- channel adjustmentPress 1 on the Remote and you will have two of them simultaneously on.Example C:You want to set 16 outlets and use one remote and have them individually on. (now I dont know if anyone wants to use it like this but its possible)Code Adjustment:Outlet A, B, C, D = 1 Outlet E, F, G, H = 2 Outlet I, J, K, L = 3 Outlet M, N, O, P, = 4The above line is for the Remote code adjustment. From there, you assign the outlet like previous examples.Outlet A, E, I, M = 1 , Outlet B, F, J, N = 2, Outlet C, G, K, O = 3, Outlet D, H, L, P = 4If you have done it correctly then you would be able to control 16 appliances using one remote. However! you have to change the remote code adjustment if you wan to turn on A, E or P. [A = 1,1; E = 2,1; P = 4,4]

Only for seniors if it is all going to be on the same channel. Misleading
This item description is misleading. I purchases for my 89 year old mother so that she could more easily turn on and off a bedside light and a standing pole lamp. Description led me to believe that each could be individually turned on and off. After setup, the remote control requires you to switch the channels on the actual remote per device that you wish to turn on or off. That is a fail for a senior. Just too complicated for her. I ended up just putting two plugs on one channel so that she can use the remote and turn both lights on and off at the same time. Very disappointing because I wanted to add a third light on the third plug sent, and expected each to be able to be accessed individually on the remote until I discovered that you have to move the channel setting on the back of the remote for that to function that way. I almost sent them back but figured similar devices being sold are probably the same way. She is happy being able to turn them both on and off at the same time with a remote control and not have to reach and attempt twisting knobs with her arthritic hands. But again the advertised description is misleading for seniors and my expectations of the device were disappointed.

Remote controlled outlets are SUPER AWESOME!
I love using this product! I can sit on the couch and turn off all of my lights with the remote to watch movies or I can turn of just one light. I can also hit the on button when walking in the room and turn on all of my lights. I love it! Works great.

You can control 12 different devices from 1 remote.
This is how I set up the system.I work all 4 switches on code 1 on the back of the remote and channel and put I on all 4 switches.I only change the code on all 4 switches. I do not need to change the code on the remote, I keep it on code I for all 4 switches. If I had a big house with 12 rooms in it I could turn on and off 12 different devices 1 in each room in my house. If I had a 4 room house I could turn on and off 4 different devices in each room.I could put all 12 devices on the living room floor and make them all turn on and off with on prolbums, I would just have to move the switch on the back of the remote 4 times in order to turn on and off all 12 devices. You can control 4 remote switches per channel. The remote has 4 channels. 4X4=12, You can control 12 different devices from 1 remote.

Doesn't control everything
This is my 2nd attempt with this remote. Tested it on my work bench, everything worked fine. Than when I installed it to the component I wanted to control it gave me a problem. When I used it to control a transformer, once turned on I couldn't turn it off or use the other 2 channels either to turn on or off. Finally figured out that my transformer was causing the problem. It puts out a square-wave AC whose frequency is modulated to embed a digital signal. (Einstein stuff) .I bought this because it has 3 receivers on one remote. (very handy) I do have a different brand controller with one channel that does control this transformer, it is apparent that I will have to buy two more of those remotes & receivers to get what I want.If what you want is to control a light or perhaps a small appliance this is a nice unit. It doesn't work for what I want it to do.

Fire hazard, doesn't work
The remote will not match to the numbers on the controllers. Once I placed the battery in and tried many different times, it just would not connect. In addition, the remote got hot by the battery. When I removed the battery to make sure that was not the problem, it was so hot it actually burned me and batteries should not generate heat. Not only does this not work, it is definitely a fire hazard.
