BernatBlanket Stripes Yarn, 10.5 oz, Gauge 6 Super Bulky Chunky, Cape Cod

This wasnt what i thought it was. I actually wanted heavy chunky yarn for a finger knit afghan, but after I got it I decided to use it and it made a wonderful throw blanket. its not heavy, machine washable and it only took a few days to whip it up. I do have a concern tho about where the other colors are joined. it looks varigated but the alternate colors are sort of stitched together, I am hoping that it lasts

The amount of each color is entirely different. It will not make stripes if you try to use as is. The colors are bright and what I expected, but the texture is awful. Had to separate each color out into a ball to be able to use the yarn at all.

I mixed it with the red ombré yarn from the same brand to make a custom blanket for a friend. I love the thickness . Just hate how the yarn connects at the changes of color. That’s my only complaint.

I was under the impression from the photos/description this yarn was a red and white stripe. It's not. It's red, white AND GREY.

I understand knots connecting two different colors but in the 6 rolls I ordered there are Multiple knots within the same color. Why?

My first experience of Bernat yarn & I'm very disappointed. Yes, it's soft and lovely to crochet with but I had a significant knot in my STARTING CHAIN!! And then another before the colour even changed, so two knots in the first two rows. I cut the yarn & started again resulting in significant wastage. I don't feel inclined to try Bernat again any time soon.

Beautiful soft yarn, I've never worked with this thickness before but I got the hang of it eventually. 3 stars is because the color changes are horrible. I got it to make a baby blanket but because of the changes its now the cats. I'm now working in different balls of solid colour so I can integrate the colours better. The cats happy though.

i love this Bernat wool,so soft and warm.After many wool brands i finally found the perfect wool for me,so lovely to work with.Made my teenage son and daughter bed throws and they love them.i cant wait to start my new project...throws for my sofa...highly recommend.

This wool Bernat Blanket stripes-300g- Meadowbrook does not have proper finishing and it breaks easily. The colour does not match well into the next colour of it and they're not embedded into each other properly, at the end of each colour the next one is just twisted into the previous. But I gave it 3X because the colour is what it looks like in the picture and I managed to knit them. So, it's an okay item.

Not as described sadly. Not one ball but 4 individual colours that had been tied together to make one ball, made my cushion look awful. Customer service only gave a refund of 10% as they were not the manufacturer’s !! Will not be buying from these people again and do not recommend. Watch out!!
