My granddaughter visits frequently & I was very concerned about her sleeping in her room alone. Not any longer! The camera, sound and display on this monitor are all wonderful!! It even displays the temperature in her room. This monitor has eased this Grandma's heart by not only showing me what she is doing but we can also hear her if she cries. I am so pleased with this purchase & highly recommend this to anyone!

Overall, I really like this monitor. We’ve used it every night for the past two months and we haven’t had any problems with it. It completely serves its intended purpose. Here are my cons which led me to take off a star.1-The camera part is very lightweight. So lightweight that the cord is heavy enough to pull it over when it is placed on a flat surface. I have to put something on the cord to keep it in place so that it doesn’t pull the camera over. There are holes in the base so you can use screws or nails to attach it to a wall if you want to do that. I may do that eventually, I just like being able to move it easily if I want to so I haven’t done it yet. The ‘problem’ would be fixed if there was just a bit more weight to the base of the camera.2-there is a very annoying, somewhat loud jingle that the monitor plays every time you turn it on or off. I just wish there was an option to turn that off or at least down.Those are really my only cons. Oh, there is a delay on the sound to the monitor. Like I can hear her cry and then a second later I hear it on the monitor, but that’s not really a con for me.Our house is pretty small so I can’t speak to the range. The battery on the monitor lasts for about 4-5 hours without being plugged in.All in all, a good monitor. I love being able to check on my munchkin without disturbing her. I’m happy with the purchase.Update-two years later and the cord has split in two near the plug. Have to get a new unit. Two years use isn’t bad for the low price though.

Gave it a 1 because a baby monitor needs to freaking work- it either does or doesn't- this doesn't- the video is good the sound does not work- works sometimes but not consistently and the camera is emitting noises like random feedback and right now quite sure it's beeping--- while I have two kids freshly asleep- one that's sick and if wakes will not go back down easily- I'd like to stick whomever made this crappy piece of equipment in the room with my toddlers and let them deal w the fall out of a monitor that not only does not pick up their calls for us but actually makes random scary noises--- do not buy... There is a reason the rest are expensive.... So annoyed I fell for the cheap price tag .

This monitor is wonderful. I use it to monitor my mom-in-law during the night. She has dementia and cannot remember that she must use a walker.My room is on a different floor, so every time I heard her stirring, I would have to get up and hurry downstairs to see if she was getting up.Now, I just look at the monitor and, unless she is getting out of bed, I don't have to get up to check. The night vision is such a helpful feature.

Bought this for my daughter several months before her baby was born. Pulled it out of the box, charged it, and tried it out. It worked fine. Put it back in the box, wrapped it and gave it to her at her baby shower. She took it out of the box a week ago, charged it, and it will not work. I am in the process of seeing if I can exchange it.

This little monitor is amazing for the price! It provides a clear (but small) picture where you can easily check on your baby. It connects quickly and was easy to set up. I love the music and talking features. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that it has an odd chirping noise when the volume is turned up. It's not loud enough to distract from baby noises but it's loud enough to be annoying. If you're looking for an inexpensive buy effective baby monitor I recommend this one!

I bought this back in April of 2015 and it was a great monitor for us. I could go anywhere in the house and even outside just a bit before loosing a signal. While this monitor works great in the day time, it only works ok with the night vision on while its dark. As of about 3-4 months ago the night vision stopped working all together and I can barely see the outline of my sons bed at night. I would recommend buying this if you really need a video monitor right away and this is still around the $40-$50 range but start saving up for an upgrade right away.

This monitor was great, until the battery in the parent monitor started dying. It barely lasts 2 hours before it dies. Also, when it gets close to the end of the charge, once you plug it back in, a message pops up saying Battery Low Shuttiny Doen, and it shuts off. It does this while it’s plugged into the wall, and it can happen anytime after you’ve plugged it in. The other night, we woke up and discovered that the monitor had just shut off while still plugged the wall. After you unplug it and plug it in again, it restarts and works fine. However, that doesn’t help when the monitor randomly shuts off in the middle of the night and you don’t know what is going on with your baby. I wouldn’t buy this product again, unless they fixed the battery issue. We bought it for piece of mind, and we no longer have it. We had to buy a new monitor today to replace it, and it’s barely one year old.
