We installed this unit in early July 2016. It runs just like its supposed to, quite, efficient and cold. We had an HVAC contractor install the system, but if I was to do it again I would install it myself and take my chances on not getting the warranty coverage because I didn't use a licensed contractor. the unit is inexpensive to buy and it cost us $1,800 for the contractor which was about twice the value of the work. I am a licensed building contractor, but not a licensed HVAC contractor, so I know the value of labor in the contracting business. As far as the system goes, it uses 8amps of power when it fires up, but soon drops down to 3-4 amps once cold. I highly recommend it if power cost is a big issue to you ?As a side note: My HVAC guy thought the system was made by Fijitsu or the same company that makes Fijitsu as the unit looks like, and has a lot of the same components as a Fijitsu. Only thing is, Fijitsu don't offer a 110volt unit with a 20 SEER ?

Great product, a bit tricky installed ON 2ND FLOOR ON on SIP walls.

The unit arrived quickly and was packaged well. I already had the electrical hooked up and ready to go when the unit arrived, as well as a stand for it to fasten to outside the house. Installation was a breeze. The templates for hanging the inside unit made placement easy. The unit was precharged and the lines were sealed to keep them moisture free. If you have the proper equipment for making flared connections you could do the work yourself. I recommend getting a qualified person to actually install and properly evacuate the unit, even though it came precharged. That way you know it is done right and won't fail due to moisture.It has been running over the past year and has worked great for both heating and air conditioning. It is incredibly quiet. You never hear it running as it is pumping out the heat or cool air. I wish it had an option for a hard wired wall controller, but the remote unit, when stationed across the room from it, does work well to accurately regulate the temperature. I would definitely purchase another one of these for any house I own, especially since it is about 1/4 of the price of many of the "name brand" ones on the market.

I loved my first one so much I got a second unit. Quiet efficient heat and I hope the cooling is the same come summer.
