Casio Men's G-Shock Digital Power Trainer Connected Green Resin Watch GBD800UC-3

Before Apple Watches and Galaxy Watches, there were your basic watches that told time, had a timer, a stopwatch, a world clock and a back light built in. I used to have an older model of Casio's G-Shock watch, and it lasted until I purchased a smart watch, which at that time the G-Shock was not considered that title. Now, I have a job where I will come home with scrapes and bruises, and will run into many things out of drive to accomplish tasks and full blown clumsiness.The G-Shock Men's GBD800UC-5 is a wonderful welcome to my return to the G-Shock line. I am not in the military, but the colors on the watch are suited more towards the men and women that serve, but honestly, I loved the color scheme that it made no difference to me. The screen can be hard to read, so you have to be in the right light or turn on the backlight.The addition to the G-Shocks are that they now are smarter and sync with your mobile device. This model tracks your steps and shows your daily route. The only problem is the Android app frequently crashes. Aside from that, it is a fantastic watch that proved to me that I get my daily steps and more. Plus, it can take a serious beating, which is great for me.Casio, if you want to send me G-Shocks to try and review, I would be more than happy to because these are fantastic watches!

I love it , very nice base model gshock watch . Fits great . I wear it everyday at work and it holds up . I'm a roofer so it takes a beating . I will order a more technical gshock for after work . Thanks casio== update 11/09/24 watch has moisture in it , can't see the time anymore useless now . Can't withstand moisture from a shower .

Owned this for years now and I'm never going back to a smart watch or anything else ever again. Been in the ocean, rivers, and fights with bad guys. Watch has always stayed on and never malfunctioned.

Where do I start. The watch is very handsome. The entire unit is a deep green with some black accents, just like the pictures. It is durable, easy to use, easy to fit and very comfortable. I am not a tech person, but the app is also easy to use and the step count is something I used to laugh at people for using. Not anymore. I’m on the wagon, baby! Sometimes, when I find a product that I like, I’m tempted to buy a second one even if it is a complete redundancy. This is one of those cases. Great job, Casio! Keep this product line coming!!

I was looking for a sport watch that I didn’t have charge up every night, this a plus for me. You have to download TWO apps. 1. G shock app then it takes you to 2. (Casino watches) where you create a Casio account to sync your watch to Bluetooth. That’s where it explains the setting and functionality of your watch.Pro: 1. watch itself is awesomeCon: 1. somewhat of a con, the wrist band could have been a bit more durable and not so plastic feeling.

Got this for my bf for Christmas. I was only guessing that this is one of the ones he liked. He loves it! It honestly surprised me with how much extra it did like counting steps and being able to connect to his phone. I clearly didnt bother reading anything about it except it was a gshock and a digital clock in the color green lol. Over all great watch he wears it daily in a steel wearhouse
