Works well on all plants.. not for thick hard branches
Best product ever. Reduced gardening time greatly and cuts like butter. Almost got an electric trimmer. So glad I found these. My yard is overgrown with all the rain and it has helped trim plants hedges and tackle 3 foot weeds. I gave them a haircut and then used the hula hoe

Handles need improvement.
I thought the handles were solid aluminum covered in rubber like felcos and similar pruners. They are red painted rolled steel. I wrapped them in some duck brand rubber stretch tape and it works ok for $25 investment, $30 if you count tape. A few layers of plasti dip would work also. Blade is of expected quality for price.

After a single use the sheers seemed dull
We bought these based upon the solid reviews. Regrettably, they don't hold an edge and are not very effective with thick-wooled sheep.

Perfect length for big plants
MUCH better than all those short blade scissors and really nice for cutting hard to reach dead areas in large plants such as agave and yucca!
