Bristles collapsed
I bought this brush scrape the sides of my sink drains to remove black mold. Unfortunately the 2 in diameter is to wide for 1.5 in sink drains. The brush still did a good job, but I had to rotate it each time in order to get 360 degree coverage. I think it will work great in a larger diameter sink drain. It also did not navigate around the p-trap.

Built for the Job
This was my second attempt at finding a brush up to the task of cleaning our shower drain. The first brush (different brand, different merchant) was, in a word, pitiful and I sent it back. In contrast, the Brushtech brush has sturdy bristles and a strong, well-made flexible wand. I was concerned that the 2" diameter brush may prove too small for the larger shower drain but it had no trouble cleaning the sides. This Brushtech is far superior to other brushes I've seen on the market, will probably outlast me, and is made in the USA. Highly recommend.

Mixed feelings here
Okay, mixed review here. I gave it 4 stars because it is honest as advertised, a 2" brush head on a long cable. It works for cleaning out my 2" shower drain pipe, although I wish it were slightly oversized in diameter to really scrub it, but it's acceptable and again, as advertised. The down side is that the length of the brush head is too long, and I cannot jam it through the trap - the diameter is fine, but it's too long to make the trap bend. So that's what really lost the star for this product. I've used the 1.25" brushes for my bathroom vanity drain and they are awesome! They clean the entire pipe and trap out, but the 2" diameter version is just too long of a brush, it needs to be more like 2" diameter and only 1.5" long instead of 3" long.

It worked okay for me.
It worked okay so far. The size of the brush worked well for my application of cleaning sink drain parts (disassembled for access). The part in the front without the brush is bent back around and did get caught a couple of times when I went to remove it from a pipe. Would be better if it was spot welded or something instead of bent.

Very flexible, maybe too much so for what I need.
Likes: long enough handle, stiff enough bristles, easy to clean, easy to coil and store.Dislike: too flexible.I purchased this item to clean out the sewer pipe from the toilet to the black tank in my Fifth Wheel.

NOT FOR DRAINS !!!!
If you're looking for a Sink/Shower drain brush - THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT unless you are working on a straight run of pipe. The head on this brush does NOT flex, so you will NOT be able to snake it through a J-trap or 90-degree elbow turn. It's probably OK to use to say clean a Dryer vent where the turns are not too pronounced and the diameter is large, but I haven't tried that yet.

This wonโt make it past the bend in a 2โ P trap.
Donโt buy if you expect to actually clean the line with this.

Good with exceptions
I ground down the black connector that holds the brush to the spring. It was to thick to get around the bend in the hose. I made it about 3/4 of an inch without a problem.
