I got this for measuring acidity of wine I was making. It works well and although I haven't calibrated it properly yet it seems fairly accurate. I am using it to compare the acidity of my home made wine with commercial wine so absolute accuracy isn't too important to me.

It seemed to work fine and certainly appeared to be accurate when compared to buffer solutions.I put it away for the winter and not surprisingly needed new batteries when I went to use it in the spring. Now I need to put new batteries in every time I use it even if only a few days since last used. I am taking care to make sure it is switched off and screen goes blank but it seems to be consuming current in off mode.Even though it was 14 months old. Amazon still gave a refund.Now I have to buy a replacement. The problem seems to be that they all appear to be clones of the same machine.

Just needs more clear instructions

USELESS.It would not even turn on and needs you to get some deionised water to calibrate before use.There is a much better meter that’s comes pre calibrated so can be used right out the box unlike this one for £13 and it also comes with enough powder to calibrate it twice and this one one had enough for the first time.

Broke after two uses. Had my money back but what a waste of time

Premetto che l'ho acquistato per misurare il ph dell'acqua piscina. E' arrivato puntualissimo. Si presenta in una comoda confezione rigida con istruzioni. E' fornito di 2 bustine per la facile calibrazione. Certamente lo consiglio. Credo che sia anche molto attendibile. Per fare delle controprove basterebbe misurare il ph che troviamo sulle etichette delle acque in bottiglie. Non l'ho ancora fatto ma lo farò presto. Intanto consiglio l'acquisto.

Précis lors de la première utilisation juste après l'étalonnage. Mais ensuite, il n'est plus étalonner après 2 jours (0,4 unité pH de différence avec les solutions tampons à la bonne température) . Si vous cherchez de la précision dans les mesures, passez votre chemin. Sinon, il sera idéal pour un usage ponctuel et peu rigoureux. Enfin, la solution étalon à 6,86 sera difficile à trouver dans le commerce.. Personnellement, je l'ai renvoyé.

Utilisation pour piscine.Matériel non calibré à la livraison et impossible de le faire car les solutions n'étaient pas présentes dans la boite.Dommage car inutilisable pour l'instant. Pourriez vous me les envoyer car je retourne l'appareil sinon.
