Cut resistant, yes...heat resistant..no
I bought these to do dishes in hot water. While they are absolutely cut resistant and as far as dish gloves go, they work well...they are NOT heat resistant. My hands burn if I use these for too long due to the hot water. My water is not super heated, it's just typical hot water from my tap and this does not protect from that heat. I gave it 4 stars because the cut resistance is really nice and make them last longer but they have no more heat protection than a typical dish glove. If you are sick of your dish gloves tearing from knives or sharp objects then invest in these but if you are banking on that heat resistance, find another brand.

Probably good for their intended purpose?
I had picked these up in hopes to solve an ongoing "dish gloves keep getting sliced apart" problem ... these gloves are definitely extremely heavy duty and I assume work great at whatever their intended purpose is, but not so great as dish gloves; they do not seem to have a lot of grip on smooth surfaces; act less like rubber and more like plastic, trying to hold a plastic cup with these on basically results in just watching it slowly slip out of your hand from gravity.Probably great for what they're intended for, but definitely do not get these if you're looking for more durable dish gloves.

Not quite worth the price
These gloves were great for about two weeks, after that the oustide started tearing and water soaked into the fabric lining, the res e gloves aren't the easiest to turn inside out so the fabric stays wet even after sitting out for days.
