BITTBOY V3.5 - 2019 Hardware Revision ; Retro Gaming Console Handheld Emulation

I’m very impressed. Ignore the other review as I’m sure that person was looking for an experience of modern day gaming. The buttons are not mushy as stated and the graphics are as close and true to the original games. I was very surprised to receive a custom firmware version. It’s not the latest one, but I’ll probably tinker with that later on down the line. There are very limited instructions, but as I enjoyed making a raspberry pi3b+ so this is child’s play! I would like to put a shout out to RETRO JOY - UK for putting together this complete with micro sd card, reader and some games to start of with. There are some bad reviews out there but I’m very happy with this. I tried to contact BittBoy to see if they would put this in the amazon store but thankfully RETRO JOY - UK did. Any chance we can have more direct from amazon please? Buy one you won’t regret it!

Pile of crap even with cfw firmware, screen tearing, massive frameskip stutter, build quailty also rubbish buttons feel mushy, and when I peeled the screen protector off there is a big dot in the middle of the screen which can't be removed so must be underneath the screen

This is a great way to consume retro games. I'm surprised by just how faithful the buttons feel to the gameboys of old. The CFW is easy to navigate and even fairly simple to update. All in all I think for the price and nostalgia you get from this, it is well worth it.If I was to have one issue, it is that there was a small scratch on the screen when I received it, however, once games are running it isn't even noticeable.I highly recommend it if you're looking for the vintage gaming experience in a retro styled package.
