I bought this adapter to connect a high current backup power supply. At first glance I could tell that this cord looked less substantial than the typical NEMA 5-15 cords that are commonly used to plug in a computer. Further inspection revealed that the cord is rated for only 13 amps or 1625 watts. I immediately checked the product page and saw no mention of this limitation. This is a ridiculous cost saving measure, because the amount of additional copper needed to support the full capacity of an ordinary household outlet (15A, 1800W) would be on the order of pennies. As it is, this cord should be considered a fire hazard unless you absolutely certain that the device you intend to use it with is under the 13A rating. Certainly don't use it with a space heater, or expect this cord to be for general use with anything you can plug directly into an outlet.

Nothing wrong with the product, but note that for a typical residential outlet, the cord will be 90 degrees to the LEFT side. (The photo does show this). I specifically needed a right angle to the RIGHT; refund was quick and simple!

For $6 I can get a much longer extension cord at Home Depot or anywhere else, but I understand that shipping is not actually free and built into the cost of the product. Other than this is exactly what it says it is, a 1ft right angle extension cord that allowed me to plug my Chromecast into a tight outlet behind my TV

Just the right fit for my needs. The flat plug worked great for close quarters.

This was purchased to use behind a wall mounted TV. An electrical outlet was placed behind the TV so that the power cables for the TV and the wall mounted sound bar could be hidden.The power cable for the sound bar was not a right angle plug and could not be plugged in without affecting the tilt and level of the TV. This was a perfect and cheap solution.Very happy with the design and quality of this plug. It uses a heavy gauge wire but is still flexible enough to be maneuvered as required.Much cheaper solution than buying a new cable for the soundbar power supply, or reworking the electrical box to use a recessed unit. No cons I can think of.Highly recommend!

I needed a short extension cord for the kitchen and Amazon was the only place that had one that met my needs. It is just as described and is a heavy duty cord, grounded for all needs. If you are looking for guality for your money stop at Amazon for a look and you might be surprised.

Not as flat as I expected. O lu difference is the plug goes out sideways but the thickness is still there. I was hoping to use behind wall mounted tv but now I’m just going to put an in wall recessed outlet.

We purchased this cord so we could push our microwave closer to the wall in order to gain more counter space. Works perfectly. Would recommend it for everyone.
