swimming pool spa or pond jet vacuum cleaner

I never normally leave reviews, especially when it’s for a product I know I should of spent more money on but wanted to gamble on a really cheap option. But this item is actually good and well worth the £10 price tag.I have a lazy spa and a four year old, also there is a tree in my garden and a sand pit. You can imagine the grief I have trying to keep the spa clean.I read the reviews and was tentative as always but paid my money and took my chance.The main head of this is quite robust plastic, the handle is flimsy feeling. I put it all together and plugged the hose on.Either the water turned on this actually works, and is really effective as well!!!!It immediately sucked up any bits of leaf and debris and spat them into the bag. It was really effective.Don’t get me wrong, in a lazy spa the handle is at a bit of an awkward angle as the sides are high and the pool is not very wide, but it’s certainly useable and effective.A couple of notes for you.1) it uses cold water from the tap to run the vac. I would use it once you have finished with the spa or before you turn it on. If you decide to use it halfway through for a quick tidy up you will drop the water temp.2) I have ready a few reviews about using some tights instead of the bag for smaller particles/sand. I have not tried this yet but I can see exactly how this would work and I will be doing it.3) have the handle and the hose connectors opposite each other. Not the same side. I found it makes it easier to manoeuvre.I gave this 5 stars because for a £10 product it has done everything it promised in the description and arrived quickly.

Cleaned the bottom of my pool which is about a metre deep, not perfect but certainly made a difference.It connects to a normal hose (same on I used to fill the pool) and it is fairly easy to use, connect it together, connect the hose and turn on the waterThe pole isn’t the sturdiest it’s quite thin and long but I can clean a 12 foot pool without getting inside it

Absolutely amazing for the ease of use power and hose connector standard/universal!! Pick up and bag capacity!! I'm so happy !!

You get what you pay for , the product works but the pole isn’t of great quality and I think will break if you’re not careful . But hey it works for the price

Delighted with this product after having struggled to clean the pool bottom with home made appliances. I had some limited success following an online DIY version involving a piece of hose, plastic funnel and pair of tights which went over the pool outlet. It did work, but was awkward as the hose had to be purged of air and there was some (audible) duty placed on the pump. So we read the reviews for this appliance and decided to take the plunge (pardon the pun). For £15 it is good value, simply made (feels cheap/plasticky), but in reality it does the job really well and is actually all that is needed. Suction power depends on hose water pressure/flow. The incoming water isn't directed against the pool bottom, but is reversed and forced upwards a few inches from the bottom, by a double walled collar. The upward thrust 'pulls' the debris off the bottom with it, and into the supplied mesh bag. It efficiently cleaned fine dirt lying along the creases on the bottom of our pool. The handle is plenty long to get to the centre of a 10' pool. The hose connector is slightly awkward to connect, but just needs a form push until it clicks in place. Clearly it does add extra water to the pool, but we had cleaned out 10' dia pool in about 10mins, so the amount of water added is negligible. Just take a 'pailfull' out if it's an issue to you. When finished it dismantles easily and we keep all the bits in the mesh bag.

I was a little dubious about this purchase as only £12.99 but I'm impressed!The pool cleaner was easy to put together which was lucky as no instructions but pretty self explanatory.The whole black plastic bit must be fully submerged in order to create the vacuum needed to suck out the debris. Once submerged it was easy to use and effective.Definitely a game changer when it comes to kids paddling pools. Quickly removed all the inevitable dirt and grass from the pool. Just wish I'd purchased years ago!
