This series should be in every school library
Another great Omar adventure. This time Omar and his friends work together to raise money for his local mosque which is in danger of closing down. The adventure takes an unexpected turn when the money they raise goes missing. Omar, Charlie and Daniel have to take on the role of detectives to try and work out who could have stolen the money and get it back before the mosque's deadline.Reading this book put such a massive smile on my face. I'm not sure I can quite convey in words how perfect this series of books is. All of these adventures involve Omar being amazingly brave and kind and it just makes me heart melt. Added to this he has such an upbeat and imaginative way of looking at the world that it's just so much fun to be in his head. The illustrations and different fonts used throughout the book bring the pictures that the words create to life in hilarious ways.I absolutely adore the friendship between Omar, Daniel and Charlie. Their different personalities mix so well and I love how their friendship makes Charlie more confident and helps Daniel to make better choices. I'm also so pleased that the book shows these boys hugging each other when they're happy or needing comfort and holding hands when they're nervous. This is such a positive thing for boys (and girls) in my class to read about and have normalised. After reading this book, I am more than happy to continue recommending this series to readers aged 7+. I believe it is one of the best children's book series currently publishing.

Funny and interesting !
My son , 9 years old ,brought this book from school library. He enjoyed reading it . He found the book interesting and funny and he couldnโt help laughing while reading it.He finished his book in couple of days then read it again and again . He didnโt want to return the book to the school library. I have bought Omar books for his own secret library. He has read every Omar book at least 3 times .I highly recommend this book for all Muslim and non- Muslim kids.Thank you to the author who gave us such excellent books.

Kind and funny stories
I'm not sure quite how we came across these Omar books but my 8 year old son and I LOVE them.Kind stories of realistic children with with and humour and a nod for the adults reading too.We are Christian and the protagonist in this book is Muslim which is fantastic as it's opened up all sorts of discussions and we have messaged Muslim friends to ask about things Omar talks about so we are accidentally educating ourselves too, which can never be a bad thingBrilliant stories and illustrations. Thank you.

Good book
The plot of the story is good, and the pictures are superb, but it is a little to short for my taste, you would enjoy it

Fun book, good illustrations
Lively and engaging book, much enjoyed by both my son (12) and daughter (10)They had previously been reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid, so they were able to compare - they both felt this was similarly appealing. A good choice for reluctant readers

Awesome books
My 7 yr old son read each plant omar book within a few days. He absolutely loved this series and cannot wait for more! As a mother im thrilled to have fun engaging books for my child that are feature Muslims but aren't ALL about them being Muslim. Its a normal fun story thst isn't awkwardly centered around the fact that they're Muslim and how they stick out bc of that. Wonderfully written. Please write more in this series! I will buy them all!!!

I like how at the end the crime is solved and the robber is the least expected person.
