Finally, a light weight hackle plier that that really holds the feather, with a finger ring big enough for my fat, stubby, fingers. I've used just about everything else out there with varying degrees of success. The others hang on my pegboard wall with other tools that I keep, just in case. These tweezers are on my bench, next to my vise.

Great pliers especially for tiny hackel

I love beautifully simple designs!

These solved the problem I was having with clunky big flat blades cutting my hackles, they are light and hold well, rotate on your finger. The only real problem with them is not losing them or sweeping them into your trash bin! But they are a great tool for sure!

This works well for fine stem soft hackle where the weight of hackle pliers can break the feather. Only bad part is they are easy to lose on your tying desk as they are so small.

Perfect tool for hacking my #18-24 flies!
