Cheap
I've been using this for a few months after replacing my last one. I swim about 6k yards per week slowly and thus is just nice to have to accompany me on my son's. Isn't the best around, but I future that anything submerged in water consistently is going to fail at some point, no use in spending more money than necessary.Battery life is superb, sounds quality is fine. Overall, this is more than you pay for.Edit 4/22:Dead. After being "on the fritz" for several months now, it's dead. The connection with the headphones was getting very touchy and officially does not work any more. Unfortunately it did not make it a whole year so I'm going a different direction I think. Get what you pay for...

Worked Well for 10 months
It's very difficult to find an MP3 player to use in the pool and during other exercises. I've used this one frequently (4-5 days a week) for about 8 months without issues, then I had some music corruption issues and battery issues, but it kept working till about the 10 month mark and now here we are. It was good while it work and it almost made it a year, so I gave it three stars which is not bad considering I've had a few mp3 devices and it's about 50/50 for the 1 year mark. If it could have made it over a year, I'd have given it four stars.Edit: I noticed recently that I had some corrupted files on my computer, I cleaned them up and checked the device and it worked. Lost it not long after, so I ended up getting another since it's really between this and Sryn which I had very bad experiences with. I upped the review to 4 stars.

design/materials/manufacturing flaw
Went through at least 5 (!) of these players (with replacements) in the course of three years. Used daily for an hour of swimming. Previous models without the screen were more reliable.Pros:1. Cheap2. Short headphones cord.3. Decent sound quality.4. Plays FLAC files.Cons:1. Very short life span of the current model. The two most recent units lasted for two and one month respectively before developing malfunctions. The major problem - loss of connection with the computer. The unit itself still plays audio files but fails to connect to a computer making it practically useless. Standard fixes do not work. Previous model (without a screen) was more reliable - nearly a year of use. The headphones jack which is used for the computer connection seems to be the major problem.2. Poor design. Hard to operate (change tracks, folders, adjust sound level) while swimming with too many buttons. The screen is mostly useless unless you have a perfect eyesight or carry a magnifying glass to the pool. Too many unnecessary functions and glitchy software .3. Thin cord breaks easily thus causing static and loss of sound quality. Had to fiddle with the headphones jack all the time in order to find a position where there is no interference and both channels work. I would rather be swimming than loosing my time on these annoying adjustments.I am done with this brand even given a relative ease of exchange/replacement through AMZ or the seller. Time wasted simply doesn't justify the result.

This makes lap swimming fun for a change.
I've never had underwater headphones before but swam my entire life. I purchased these to break up the boredom of swimming back and forth. Spoiler alert, worth every penny. Plugging them into your PC (windows 10) is simply. Just plug the thing into your pc, dump a ton of songs in the main root folder or separate them out if that's your thing and they copy over. Super easy. Learning the menu's can be a little tricky to turn volume up and down at first. Just read the manual a few times and you'll be set.* Battery life seems great so far. I usually only have time for 30 minute swim sessions so far and I've done 4 and have not worn down the battery at all playing at half power.* sound quality is great as long as you put them on before you jump in the water. If you do, just get the water out of the earbuds before putting them on. Clip the unit to the back of your goggles and make sure that the headphone wire points down. Swim in style and enjoy. I'm 100% glad I purchased these headphones and would do it again in a heartbeat. I hope they last but so far I'm very happy with my swim tunes.

It worked great for a while
It worked great for a while. I like the fact that you could read what was playing and be able to skip to any music that you wanted to hear but it just stopped one day and I wanted to order another one but they are not available here in the states. I did see them available on Amazon Canada but they will not ship to the U.S.

Battery lasts a long time.
I had 3 Syryn players. Each one of those were no good and stopped working or ran out of juice just after a few hours. I've also had a Diver that was fine, except I can't find it anymore. This device has a good long battery life and has a meter so you can tell when you are using up the power. It also has a radio that I didn't even know about. It doesn't work at my indoor pool, but that is OK as I have plenty of my own songs. It is a decent product. And it was reasonably priced-even lower than my other units. I did purchase the extended warranty as I've had 4 underwater devices and they all broke within a year. I do swim a lot though. I'm impressed.

Loved it for two months, then it died. Second one lasted maybe two weeks.
It was easy to load music. Headphone cables were a bit tight, but loosened up as I stretched out some of the coils. I really liked the fact that it has a screen--- most of the other waterproof players have no screen. (Note-- although screen is nice, it is hard to see it when using in outdoor pool on sunny day). Sounded good, no problems.First unit simply died after a couple of months. No reset button I can locate. Second unit probably didn't last two weeks. It just goes wonky and flashes through a bunch of different settings, never stopping where you want it, so it won't do anything. Two stars is generous, mostly because I really liked it when it worked.
