- Weighing in at just 38 lbs. (Tarsus 2"), each Tarsus rack is light enough for easy one person installation, yet strong enough to carry multiple downhill rigs on a shuttle run.
- The Tarsus 2 inch model is expandeble up to four bikes with the additional Plus Two bike extension.
- Keeping to the Raxter mantra of less parts, less problems. The Velcro tie-downs keep the bike on the rack, and they are easy to use. No instructions needed.
The Raxter line of Tarsus folding platform mount hitch racks is a simple design that incorporates a folding mount to allow for the rack to fold up parallel to the vehicle when the bikes are removed. This makes it much easier to use when you aren't heading out to a ride. Built with the same quality as our other racks, the Tarsus comes in both 2" and 1.25" inch hitch size. We also have a Tarsus El, with an additional 5 inches of clearance, for use on trucks with rear spare tires.
