I love this file so much! It smoothes the ends of your nails so they feel polished. This protects your nails from snagging, jagged edges, peeling nails, and fixes these problems also. No other nail file can do what this one can. I like filing the edges of my nails so slightly that it's not a fine 90° edge so th corners are not pointy and don't poke my skin yet still retain the overall straight edge shape. It's for after you've filed or cut your nails to the right length, and smooth it all out. They are a great find that anyone who cares about their nails would benefit from. Can be used on delicate baby nails or pet`s nails. Great for smoothing out the sharp needle-fine nails of cats so they are less sharp, and be safe from causing the nails to split, or crushing them using nail clippers.

Oh my, I love this! I am trying to ditch acrylics after 25 years and while I strengthen my nails I have to keep them super short. This tool is super fine for sanding but gets the job done pronto. Seems to be very kind to my poor, ravaged nails. It is a lot nicer to handle than an emery board and I can't bend it, like I do the boards. Now mind you, I haven't tried dropping it and won't and I have no clue how long it stays gritty, since I just received it, but so far it is a dream of a sander.

I can read, but evidentally did not. I thought I was receiving a set of files as pictured, not just one.My nails are very fragile; I have been using crystal files for years. This one is a bit coarse. I will not repurchase this brand. The ones sold for baby care work better for me.

Unfortunately for me I often buy from the pictures. This products is really well made, and my wife and myself are very happy with the product. I also feel The pictures lead you to think there are more then one for the price stated. Of course this is my mistake so I will take credit for this. As I said the product is well made. I probably would not have paid this price for one nail file. So be careful...

I had this case for the 7/8 and it was amazing. No sliding at all. LOVED it! The one for the X is just as slippery as any other case. I did buy a different color- maybe that makes a difference. I might just try buying the same color and see...

This is totally my fault for not reading the title/description well enough, but I just focused on the primary image of the 4 sticks and thought I was getting four small nail files. Nope - it's one large nail file. I bought this to use on my infant and it still works ok, but the wide edge makes it hard to get his little nails.

I have been looking for a quality crystal nail file and finally found not one, but a couple of different ones on Amazon. I am beyond happy, as my nails are very thin and peel and bend easily. This type of nail file is exactly what I need.

This is a great nail file, so different than the old types. It has the effect of filing like a coarse file, that is you can file down really quickly to reshape your nails, but only powderized nail comes off, leaving a smooth finish as if you were using buffer. I've heard that others of this type break in half, and have not had this long enough to see if this one breaks. I can just say, the results are marvelous, and it saves a lot of time.

The nail file seems quite good so far but it was clearly described and shown in photos as having a carry case. In fact in just came in a plastic bag. This is an important point as it's glass and it's far more likely to get damaged without a protective case.

The best nail file I have ever used.Quickly reduces the length of my nails and leaves them very smooth.Just a rinse in warm soapy water after use and pat dry with kitchen roll ready for next use.Should last a long long time.

I actually found this didn't last as long as I would like, I feel like the more I use it the less effective it becomes! I have bought a mirconail electronic buffer and will use that from now on

Good quality file that left smooth edges on my nails which has stopped them splitting. I'll be ordering one for my mum who has flaky nails following chemotherapy.
