I guess you could say sometimes you have to splurge to indulge yourself. This is what this is. Very, very nice!

I'm a huge fan of the classic white porcelain look, and I knew Pillivuyt wouldn't disappoint in this regard as I searched for new coffee cups to add to my dishware collection.I found these breakfast cups and promptly ordered a set of 8. Upon arrival, two were broken and Amazon immediately replaced these, with another one arriving broken. This one was replaced, as well, but I began to worry about the quality of the cups. They were beautiful and exactly what I was looking for in terms of aesthetics and function, but would they last as daily dishware?After extensively using these cups all day every day for the past two months, I'm happy to report that I haven't had any issues. These cups seem to be fairly resilient as they are used very often by my family for both hot and cold beverages. The handles are small (I struggle to fit two fingers through the handle, and I'm a female with average-size hands), which remains my only gripe. Otherwise, these cups are sturdy and classy, and I'd highly recommend them.I've given the product 4 stars due to the aforementioned consistently poor packaging and damaged cups (twice) upon arrival. Additionally, I think the handles should be slightly larger to make the mugs more ergonomic.Update (4/5/19): I have been using these cups daily for 5 years now. I'm happy to report that all 8 of them are still intact and look fantastic! My family uses these cups most often for coffee and tea, and we frequently put them in the microwave as well as in the dishwasher with no issues. Not a single one has been chipped, or shows any scratches. UPS must've really knocked them around to cause them to arrive as damaged as they were when I first ordered them 5 years ago (or they were already damaged upon shipment from the Amazon warehouse). While my comments about the design and size of the handle remains true, it's not a dealbreaker. I highly recommend the Pillivuyt brand and these breakfast cups if you're able to nab them either from Amazon, or elsewhere! The star I removed will remain for Amazon's poor shipping & handling of the product.

I use this everyday and it has become my favorite cup for my morning coffee. Just the right size and hand made quality. I have a set of 4. They are not delicate when it comes to handling which I appreciate.

Ordered 4 of them 1-2 years ago at full price (~$24/piece), decided to ordered more since the price has dropped >25%. They fit perfectly for the Nespresso Pixie. It was very well made, all still look like new after > a year of daily use.

Love my cup, perfect size and made very well. It is great for espresso machine as it is just the right height. Very good quality and can use in microwave.
