This extension improves the versatility of a pass-thru style socket wrench. The pass thru feature is great for, say, a short nut on a long bolt but you may not be able to swing the ratchet in tight quarters. This extension solves the problem. I only use this for a very few jobs so I cannot comment on mechanical durability. The plating seems fine and I am confident it won't corrode in an ordinary home or factory.

Pricey, but if you need one you need one. Well made.But I don't understand why the description in 2 places says it is BLACK? It's beautiful polished chrome.

Good quality extension. Fits and works fine with my Gearwrench, Crescent, Husky, and Craftsman pass thru ratchets and sockets.

I bought the 3" and 6" for my Gearwrench tap/die ratchet handle set. These work great for getting in tight or deep spots that won't allow my ratchet to turn. I'm a machinist and the Gearwrench ratchet tap/die set is a must as well as these extensions. These extensions also work on my Craftsman thru ratchet and sockets.

Se ve muy bien el material. Y entona excelente con la matraca de este tipo. Solo se me hizo un poco pequeña para el costo y para lo que ocupo tendría que comprar otra para alcanzar tornillos profundos. Pero en general el producto se ve de muy buena calidad.

Le quedó perfecto al juego de otra marca que compré por qué no traía está extensión y tampoco la venden.Esta es la aunica opción que encontré.
