Hornet Optima Headphones for Metal Detecting fits Various Metal detectors

I haven't had much of a chance to go out and use them due to stupid weather (blizzards and avalanches) but I have gone out with them attached to my Garrett ATX for few minutes and chipped away at the frozen ground. every thing I had hoped for and more independent speaker control an on/off switch for when I'm fighting with pinpointing. Like I said I didn't use them much but when I do get to go out side more I'll update my review

I bought these headphones 11 months ago and the ear cushions are coming apart. To replace them it costs $20, plus another $6 shipping = $26. When I received the new headphones there was not special instruction for treating the phone cushion. Of course I used them and sweat on them and I wiped them off. After they began cracking and basically disintegrating I asked what to do to keep this from happening and was told to take a wet cloth along with me and wash them off and then get some leather treatment, of some sort and wipe them down. Okay, I will do that with my next pair. The phones work well and and have proven very durable, except for the deteriorating cushion cover. I think I will have my wife sew up some kind of sock sleeve to cover them - save $26.

All I can say is amazing! Spend the extra money and get these.I will be purchasing a secound pair.
