Non-Stick Cast Aluminium Meal Skillet, 11" (2 Section), Black

Got this split pan to reduce the time I spend cooking breakfast for myself. It's non stick and cooks evenly. Easy to clean and so far has done the job. I researched other pans out there and for a 50/50 split pan this seems to be the best deal out there, highly recommended.

I have so far bought several of these pans for different people and myself. Who doesn't like dual purpose items and less cleanup.All you have to do is put longer cooking time item, say meat, in one side first to cook for awhile, then later in other side, the shorter cooking time item, say veg, so both items finish cooking about the same time.Someone had commented about being limited since required to cook two same timed items in split pan.Love how it saves on cleaning when cooking meat and veg, or bacon and eggs, in one pan for just myself, or I've made for two people. I cook two different styles of eggs, two eggs per person, on smooth side so they don't touch. For myself, I cook eggs and potatoes on smooth side with some space in between, to go with bacon.I use 12inch round universal pan cover on top, and wood or non stainless steel utensils.I almost considered pan where one dual side is split into two smaller sections. But, some comments from reviewers about difficulty using utensil in small 5x5 square, the few times I make three items all requiring a pan, instead of say a pot for one item, motivated me to get half split pan instead. The rare times I make cubed, sauteed sweet potatoes to go with bacon and eggs, for myself, three split pan would've worked, but doubtful three split would hold enough bacon, four overhard eggs and sweet potatoes for two.I just use separate pan for potatoes for two, so makes it nice only two pans to clean rather than three.The weight is not very heavy, a lot less than lodge pans, feels sturdy and anything too light would actually mean more uneven heat distribution as well as potential for warping. I use the large burner and wash pan by hand with a non scratch dual sided sponge.Like with any pan, you have to let it cool down a little before putting water for cleaning.I definitely plan to buy more for others, might actually motivate them to cook more if less cleanup.

Excellent pan for grilling steaks or pork chops, cooks Fast. Hardly any cleaning.

Love this - very conveniently. Single person and it makes dinner and cleanup easier.

So I've always wanted a divided pan. Figured since I'm only cooking for me that a pan like this would be great!Here's the problems;1) It ONLY cooks the food in the center of the pan. So only half of each section is getting heated up.2) There's no way to pour out any juices or grease. All 2 sides and the middle divider are the exact same height w/o no kind of spout or anything.3) Each side is different heights so they do not even heat up evenly on the parts that actually heat up.I returned it. The hassle of the cons were just too much.

I really sorely wanted to love this pan, but (for me) it just didn't perform as hoped/expected. There was so much to like - induction capable, high raised grills, admirable max temp handling, removable handle, etc. But... After several cooks with it, the heat distribution just isn't on point. The distribution is very much centred within the base circle, it doesn't distribute out past there unfortunately - I was using an induction hob.I'm assuming it may be great over an open fire while camping where the heat source is much more spread out? That's the main reason I'm hanging onto it rather than moving it onto a friend or relative. It may shine in a camping environment with a wider spread heat source.Apart from that, cooking in the central zone was great!

The pan heats evenly, cooks fast and cleans up really easily

I wish the wall was taller, and the one side didn’t have the grill lines. But other then that, it’s great!
