***UPDATE*** I did have a rough time to start with but... they are still working!!! That does mean a lot to me especially with my experience with LED stuff...The only thing that could have possibly been good about this is they do appear to be CRI 90, this is difficult to come by in under cabinet lighting. OTHERWISE,1- It has a terrible halo effect near the edges2- Exacerbating this halo effect is the focusing lens that puts a big ugly yellow to brown light streak right on your counter and across your wall. (remove the lens and it is almost good - going to try to use a diffusing mask to get rid of the little bit of shadow left)3- Connectors are stupid, they are too long and add much length to the lights (had to take light apart and direct solder in 2 cases)4- Connectors and wires are cheap, open circuit easily from the slightest stress (especially when one of the lights fall because the included ds tape did not hold).5- Included dimmer malfunctions and fails (didn't need no stinkin dimmer anyway, seriously! these things are not THAT bright but it would be nice for a night light effect)Anyway, this was quite disappointing with cascading failures due to design, reliability and function...

I just installed this light and was very confused about the operation until reading the review by Corey Vian. I was tempted to give this 5 stars because of the price, solid construction, and light consistency. One other point: This is listed as 12" but it requires about 16 inches of space due to the connector and adapter that plugs into the end.Instead it gets 4 stars due to lack of instructions and the goofy control. There are three buttons but only one is useful when using this light as an under cabinet light. Maybe the other buttons would go with Christmas lights or a distress signal but not for illumination.Since there where no instructions, I made some. Thanks to Corey for providing the information.

It was easy to install, some 3M tape on the back fixed it tight underneath my kitchen cabinet. It replaced an old florescent flight. The light from the led is adjustable to suit your needs, with the in Line Dimmer. The construction is metal and is very well made, the light floods downwards and is not harsh, its easy on the eyes, and its also warm to. Im so pleased I will purchase some more to illuminate some cabinets, I would give this a 10/10From the way it links with Micro USB it appears you can link these in a chain fashion which is good.

We bought (2) 3 packs of the "daylight white" LED to install under our kitchen cabinets. We installed the first 3. Linking them together. They were very light weight, low profile, and easy to install. As far as lighting up the counters using the 3, the coverage was pretty good. Ok, here's the really weird part... it cast a bright yellow halo (a line really) on our back splash and on our granite counters!!! The longer the light was on, the brighter and wider this yellow halo line became! We "uninstalled" them immediately. (I had my husband plug just one light back in and hold it in the place where the 3 had been installed so I could take a photo for the review) At first, we thought we had a bad batch. So, we just plugged in the other 3 pack and held them in place under the cabinet. Yellow halo line. We put them near a white wall...thinking it's because of the color of our back splash & counters. Same deal. Yellow halo line. Shame on us for going cheap. We bit the bullet and bought a more expensive led (hard wire) lights from Home Depot and put those in. Well worth the extra time installing and money. Daylight as well... Great coverage and no yellow halo. Don't waste your money on these. Buy a better quality light.

Excellent LED lighting!!! Used these in my garage over my work bench. Easily attached with supplied 3M Brand Double Sided tape. Lightweight, Thin Profile, BRIGHT! The picture included is in total darkness. Provides excellent direct light. The dimmer included is not the greatest quality (feels cheaply made) as opposed to the lightweight metal housing of the lights. Overall, great purchase for the price. Get some wire tamers to keep it tidy.

I used two of these sets to mount on a plastic sheet and created a 6 pointed star light for filming video. It's perfect and super amazing. I was so amazed how well it worked. 5-6000K and CRI 90+ is very hard to find without having to solder wires.The connection on one set did work immediately, so I re-connected the micro usb cables one connection at a time, and then all was good.

The light itself is reasonably bright and has a neutral (not harsh white) color. The aluminum case is light yet sturdy. The control cable that comes with it allows dimming and various flashing modes (which seem superfluous). To turn it off you have to hold the dimmer button down for a couple seconds, which is not obvious. It would be nice if it had a screw-mount option to make removal or repositioning easier, but the adhesive tape provided holds it.

Good looking, easy to install, poor quality. First, as shown in one of the Amazon product pictures, the light strips create a discolored light band at the edge of the lighted surface. That discolored band really does exist and looks awful — something I’ve not before from an LED light. Second, the plugs/wires that connect the lights end-to-end fit loosely into the light sockets. So if not aligned just right, the trailing lights dim, flicker, or turn off.
