I WILL "NEVER" GO BACK TO DOWN
I remembered having a Wool Comforter as a child, but forgot how AWESOME it is to sleep with.I suffer from Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS).Looking for the perfect Wool Comforter and reading all the reviews made me scared of any Odor. This comforter is clean! And natural! It has a little bit of wool scent to it, but it's very mild and not bothersome.I live in the Northern part of the Pacific Northwest where the winters are cold. With a Winter Night Time Sleeping Temperature of 63F; the Comforter keeps me cozy and warm all night … it settles at just the perfect temperature. The best part is: “No more Night Sweating like with Down”. The Comforter breathes really well - as wool should.I keep a duvet cover on it for protection.I have NO shedding problem. It is a costly Comforter, but it is a long term investment in the quality of sleep and overall health.

This blanket feels fantastic, relaxing
This blanket feels fantastic, relaxing. I really do enjoy sleeping with it. When I first get in bed I can feel it radiating heat back to me and then it sort of settles at just about the right temperature. I thought it might be too warm for summer in the Pacific Northwest but with how well it works, it's actually been really nice addition for some of the cooler spring/summer nights also.I'm sensitive to smells and chemicals, can't live with them. I would say the blanket is indeed very clean and natural, no chemicals. It has a little bit of wool scent to it, but it's very mild and not bothersome.A note on care - The tag on my blanket says 'Eco friendly dry cleaning on short cycle and limited moisture.' I had tried the washable version of this blanket first because I wanted to avoid dry cleaning. But I so much preferred this one that I looked around for a non-toxic dry cleaners and found one. (Look for CO2 cleaners and request the LOW moisture type of CO2 wash.)One thought...I would't exactly call this ivory. It looks more like champagne or a very light peach/pink to me. But I intend to use this natural type of blanket with a duvet to keep it cleaner longer anyway. More than anything else, I am happiest that it lives up to being organic and non-toxic! You should check that the size, listed in the title, will work with whatever duvet you want to use.By the way, I also checked out this company before plunking down a bit of cash for this blanket. Seems like a good company and apparently Kyrgyzstan does make a lot wool! Who knew!

Perfect winter weight wool comforter
This comforter is exactly what I was looking for. Good wool comforters are not cheap. For the price, this comforter is so perfect. It’s the perfect warmth for me. I have a flannel duvet cover on it. This does not have corner loops to attach to a duvet cover, but it doesn’t seem to shift much once it’s on there. I didn’t think it was too heavy or hot at all but I live in Northern Wisconsin where the winters are bitterly cold so I wanted a winter weight wool comforter. I have an all-season wool comforter that I love, but it was not warm enough for winter. I will use that one in the spring and summer months. I detected no smell at all with this comforter. It comes in a nice thick cotton bag for storage or carrying around. If you are a cold sleeper, then this is the perfect wool comforter for you.

I LOVE this comforter!
I don't normally write reviews, but I was recently raving about this comforter to a friend and figured I should rave about it online too. This comforter has ruined me for all other comforters. I used to think down comforters were amazing... not any more. I've had this comforter 4 years and its still just as great as when it first came out of the cloth bag they ship it in. No bunching or settling, but it does shed slighty which I can totally live with. I keep a duvet cover on it for protection which works great. It's warm, but it breathes really well. I live in an area where summers reach 110+, and I still sleep under it year round (I'm a female... men would likely find it too hot during summer). I used to have occasional night sweats... haven't had one since using this comforter. Can't say enough good things about this comforter!

I love this blanket
This blanket fits perfectly on a crib toddler bed (we have a convertible crib). We live in the Northeast United States and the winters are very cold. We were putting multiple blankets on my daughter's bed for the night, but as she moved the blankets would shift, leaving her exposed and cold. She would wake up and often I'd have to go in to help untangle the blankets and recover her (she was 3.5 years old). After just a few nights of this, I realized that it was impossible for her to recover herself with all of the blankets. Once putting this blanket on her bed, she slept through the night and told me that she was warm all night. I love this blanket. The only recommendation I would have for the company would be to make covers for it so that it could stay clean. As I don't sew, I had my mother make one and the whole setup works perfectly. I really can't recommend blanket this enough.

light and soft, like sleeping on a cloud
I use this as a mattress pad for a waterproof mattress.I originally got the Holy Lamb Mattress Pad http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007QYIX1G/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to use for this purpose but it was so thin it didn't provide enough air circulation. This has definitely reduced the night wakings. It is not only soft and breathable but toasty warm in the cold. The only thing I didn't like about this is, it is impossible to find a duvet cover for it without having one custom made. I ended up using a sheet. You should also know that you cannot wash this. It shrinks up like a crouton. You can rinse the (not removable) cotton cover but the wool repels liquids so, you don't have to worry about it getting gross, sunlight and fresh air should do it. Also, dry cleaning is not recommended.this is really nice and I do recommend it. Just be prepared to find a cover for it and keep it out of the wash.

Best blanket/ comforter/ duvet ever
My body creates a lot of body heat, but I like to sleep cool. This duvet keeps a very nice temperature for me, Ive never had a better comforter or blanket or duvet better than this, and it looks like last it will last, having a silky, tight woven face material and ties on the corners to keep it in place inside a cover. Nice option than down, on a animal cruelty perspective, easier to wash, don't need as much loft to be effective etc.

Keeps you nice and warm
I've had this for a month and so far it's great. It keeps me warm but not sweaty - as wool should. I wake up and my feet are nice and warm but I don't feel sweaty. I don't feel the wool shifts around a lot and stays where it should.Would recommend!

Good quality. I bought this duvet for my son who suffers from allergies and asthma. Since he's been using this duvet, he hasn't been waking up stuffy and he's getting a great sleep.
