Only works on zucchini, squash, and cucumber.
I had high hopes for this, especially when the ebook came with many recipes that weren't just zucchini. For my first try out of the box, I tried an apple. Didn't work whatsoever. Very disappointed. My next try, I did zucchini, sqaush, and cucumber. Those spiralized very nicely. When I tried carrots, it only works on big, fat carrots. The smaller 6-8" ones you get in the multi-bag at the store are too skinny to work well. You have to get the bigger, fatter ones usually sold in the bulk section. Then, I tried sweet potato and red potatoes... The sweet potato wouldn't spiral. It would only slice off about 2 inches pieces. And when I got towards the end and needed the cap to turn it more, the cap just dug in and spun but wouldn't spin the actual sweet potato. I ended up having 1/2 of it left so I sliced it up to make chips. The red potato was too small and was only able to get two spins as, again, the cap wouldn't work to spin it.If you're ok with only spiralizing zucchini, squash, and cucumbers, then this works fine. If you want to spiral other foods, it's not going to happen.

Great product- inspiring creation of new recipes!
This spiral slicer is great! The cleaning brush that comes with it is also helpful in a quick clean-up afterwards. I was amazed at how quickly and easily I could spiral entire vegetables, I really thought it would be more work, but it you hold the vegetable straight, the slicer does the work. I've already started creating new recipes: a cucumber salad is a great side for sushi and stir-fry. The kids new favorite is yellow squash that taste like dessert- just spiral a couple yellow squash, add a little brown sugar, cinnamon, handful of apple slices and olive oil. Cover and bake. It is fast and delicious!

This is perfect to use when making small meals for me and my boyfriend. It's simple, yet fun to use! So far I've only spiraled zucchini and carrots to make salads and paleo shrimp scampi, but it worked perfectly fine for me and I had no problems!. Customer service by the company, USAFearless, was extremely quick and very friendly. I contacted USAFearless because I accidentally deleted the original email they sent to me, which included the free recipe book. When I requested another recipe book, they responded within 24 hours and I was able to download the book. :)

The zucchini noodles are great!
This is a great kitchen tool for anyone trying to reduce carb intake. If you grow zucchini in your garden, rejoice! This gadget will help you use up those squash with pleasure, since the zucchini noodles this spiral slicer produces are wonderful. They hold together surprisingly well when mixed with sauce and are light and satisfying. I even layered them with cheese and sauce to make a quick, healthful lasagna. The blades are sharp and it is easy to use. Come summertime, when the squash are plentiful, this will get used a lot.

I have been avoiding any wheat products for about 2 years. Unfortunately variety is limited if you can't eat pasta. Eating only mashed cauliflower as a replacement rice gets old after a while. I was super lucky to find this slicer and diversify my low carb and gluten free diet. Getting the peeler and finger guard as freebies was a a great bonus. Making a great zucchini pasta replacement in minutes is a great time saver. I am looking forward to experiment with other vegetables. Suncoya under promised and over delivered. Thank You!!

Cheap, dirty, and abused.
This looked dirty when I took the plastic bag off of it. On top of that, there was a sharp thin metal wire hanging around on the inside where you put the veggie, which had I not seen it could have made zoodles with a razor wire garnish. A little dramatic maybe, but either way it looked like it would break after a few uses and as if the parts were stored in a dusty warehouse before being placed in a plastic bag and shoved into a box. Also, the free ceramic peeler had a few chunks missing out of the blade where it had clearly been manhandled. I went with a cool dual blade handheld julienne slicer that had a regular peeler of the other edge by Chelsydale instead.

Light, easy to use, worth the price
Very useful. Easy to use. Cleaning can be tricky, but all it takes is a bit of effort to get the blades clean. You really have to be careful of blades though, as your zucchini gets used up.

I would give it a 4.5 because its really good except on the smaller sides it is a bit hard to clean. However, for the price, I would recommend it.
