The book is beautifully illustrated and everything looks delicious. It contains recipes for all the traditional favorites, plus lots of little tips on how to tweak and/or improve them. It also has recipes for specialty pies and tarts. I think the directions would be clear to even a novice pie maker and the hints will be helpful to the more experienced baker.

"Wow" that is really "the word"! I had some pie books before, but none of them was as complete as this one. From all kinds of pie crusts, fillings, tips for baking pies in jars, essential techniques, seasonal pies, tools, trouble shooting, tips on ingredients, substitutions, kind of thickeners, from simple pies like Apple pie to cherry pie and even ice cream pies and christmas pies, metric equivalents and so much more. This is like the Holy Grail of Pie books! Really worth buying.....this is all you need :)

Great ideas for some fabulous pies. Makes my mouth water! More interesting than most pie books. Will probably get one of these books for a gift.

definitely not new. A LOT of shelf wear. Disappointed because I bought it as a gift and now I can't use it.

I bought this book as a gift, glanced at it and it certainly looks like it has many very yummy looking pies. I may get one for myself.
