Great for the price
This meter is fantastic value for the price. It has a sturdy feel to it. You should note that it is intended for measuring EMFs at around the mains frequency, which is 50Hz in the UK. It has a bandwidth from 30Hz to 300Hz. You can use it to measure the field from relatively high-power mains powered devices, such as induction hobs, toasters, etc. You can check your bedroom, especially near the electrical sockets, to ensure that you are not sleeping in mains induced fields. It could also be used to see whether your house has EMFs from overhead high-voltage power lines or a nearby electrical sub-station. Note, that if you want to measure EMFs from cellphone towers, cellphones, WiFi or Smart Meters you need a device with a much higher frequency range (say 800MHz to 2.6GHz). It shows an alert if the magnetic field strength is above 0.4 microTesla, which is the normally accepted value at which long term exposure to magnetic fields may be harmful. It measures magnetic field strength in units of microTesla, which is the SI unit. The description for electric field strength is more suspect. It claims to measure the electric field strength in milliGauss. This seems incorrect to me, as the unit of electric field is Volts per metre (V/m) or newtons per coulomb. The unit milliGauss is actually an old unit (before SI units) of magnetic flux density, not electric field strength. The meter also displays ambient temperature but on my device the reading is about 3C above the correct value.

Handy for home devices but not wifi
Handy bit of kit that put my mind at peace once I understood the radii of emf radiation around various home devices. Find I leave the kitchen when using the microwave nowadays and stopped using laptop on lap. Other than those mostly all good.Surveyed a few friends home too on request.Worth reading into emf sensitivity and effects. This is good for basic home appliances but not Wi-Fi and bluetooth. I will certainly invest in another higher Hz meter for the coming 5G enlightenment.

Excellent product recommended stay safe people
Bought to check EMF readings around the house works perfectly but as I have nothing to compare it to it's hard to say if it's correct maybe someone else can check to see whether the metre is reading correctly and leave further feedback ,if you got a smart meter in an hallway and you have pets. Sleeping Close to it move them away as the meter when off the scale even at distance of about 3 to 4 foot also the microwave 4ft away if you have an implant like a pacemaker you should own one of these as some things can cause an interference but these days most Pacemakers are insulated recommend you be very surprised and how many appliances I've given off EMF / radiation and high level don't worry about your mobile phones giving off radiation it's lots of other stuff within the house that gives off more radiation EMF strimmers lawn mowers my mobile phone was reading less out of all other devices within the house I will post pictures at a later date showing the readings I think EMF is linked to some cancers according to information on the internet so you can't be too careful

Easy to use
I’m buyed meter because I’m worried about my router radiation and microwave radiation and in my virgin media router it’s showing me 0,23 in my microwave 136.1 (135 times more)after this test I’m decided to don’t use any more the microwave

Good meter at a reasonable price
Nice, solid chunky feel. It's the sort of gadget you play around with for a few days then sling it into the back of a drawer somewhere. I was disappointed to find our house wasn't swimming in an electronic soup although our microwave did give of some impressive readings. If you have any concerns about EF this is a good meter at a very reasonable price.

Put your mind at rest!
Recently had a pacemaker fitted. Told by hospital technician to avoid dallying near microwave ovens and supermarket security systems.Bought this and found where EMR is most strong from the microwave , mobile phone (sides not front or back) and old style low voltage transformers for a multiplicity of tech items. Found a top end DAB radio plug spewed out an amazing amount of EMR. Needless to say it has been binned! Newer smaller low voltage plugs are fine.

Well I never knew!
After reading about how much wifi and RFID , electric magnetic waves were causing sleepness nights, thought I might test it out.Boy was I surprised! This little meter is really easy to use and has paid for itself immediately on first use. It discovered a couple of air purifers were emitting so much microwaves that they were demed dangerous. In the bin they went. New ones now installed and tested to be safe levels. Using this has ensured that we are making the bedrooms more comfortable to sleep in and that sources of EMF are moved to positions away from the bed or reduced with EMF stickers or material.I used to poo poo the idea BUT I am so glad I tested it myself. We seem to sleep better as a result But I have no scientific evidence from this meter to prove that is as a result of these changes. I though do feel better.

Great tool
Great bit of kit to identify EMF hot spots around the home. I used it at work and identified high levels in my workplace. The only problem I have is with trying to find out what are acceptable levels, I just can’t seem to find a lamens table with easy to read information anywhere. But the device itself works very well.
