Copper, Brass and Nickel Sink Care Protective Wax

Pretty simple product. Works like a car wax to protect your sink. Reapply occasionally in accordance with the directions and/or amount of sink use. Wax on, wax off.

Copper Sink

I have a couple of brassy metal sinks in my bathroom. They started out with a dark copper color and then corroded terribly. Steel wool was the only thing that would take out the corrosion, and it left them looking like polished brass. I decided to try this wax on one of the sinks and only use that one, just to see how well the wax worked. I put on multiple layers. That was a year ago, and I haven't reapplied the wax since. Today the unused sink has developed some ugly corrosion spots. I keep a towel by the used, waxed sink and dry it out after use. It takes 5 seconds because the wax repels water. The used sink looks exactly like it did when I put the wax on a year ago. Do I really need to dry it? Maybe, maybe not, but the wax has lasted with hot water and a lot of wiping. For me, this has been a very happy surprise.

I cleaned my copper drain really well and used this wax to see if it would help keep it from staining and turning dark, and it only lasted about one or two days. Very disapointed as expensive as it was.

Scrubbed & scrubbed & scrubbed. The shine lasted about 5 days. This product didn't protect at all, I was lead to believe it would "seal" the brass sink from black spotting - completely ineffective. Do not buy.

I hoped it would keep the water off the surface of the copper and prevent the green from setting in but I have to buff the sink with this wax at least once a week.

After a reluctance to buy because of the high price, I was surprisingly happy to find it to be a very good product. I like its protective repellent properties.
