Total game changer!
I had this tool sitting in my wish list for a couple of years now and finally decided to buy it. I couldn't believe how easy it was to use! I have been using large tongue and groove wrenches (Channel Locks) for years to compress brake pistons back into the calipers. Some calipers are easier than others but generally it can be the most difficult part of a brake replacement. The ratcheting system worked great as did the magnetic spacers.*As other reviewers have stated, the ONE thing you have to know about this tool is that pressure needs to be applied to the plates or the ratcheting mechanism will not engage.

Easy to use, if you can figure it out
As another reviewer mentioned, mine would not start ratcheting until the plates were already tight against a surface. I ended up having to unscrew both plates by hand until they spanned the entire width of the inside of the caliper before I could crank on the handle to retract the piston. So, it worked fine, but took me a few seconds to figure out how to use it due to the complete lack of documentation.

Nice brake tool
Does double piston calipers with little effort also does single piston calipers. Would buy again the cost is very reasonable with the quality of tool provided.

Definitely a must for brakes that have multiple pistons.

Quality
For the price very good tool

Kind difficult to get it started
Difficult to get the ratcheting action to engage. Plates have to be tight before it will ratchet.

Not the easiest to use
This is not the easiest to use. Once I figured out how to use it, it works good. You would think that using it would be straight forward but its not. first use it wasn't ratcheting correctly just cause it was new and dry. A little lube and it works much better. You do need 2 hands to use it and hold everything in place and a third hand to hold the caliper. Now I am a ASE certified tech and been doing brakes for over 20 years now and there are easier kits out there. If you have a single piston caliper it will work fine. For a big heavy duty truck with dual piston calipers, not so much. Takes a little creative thinking and extra pads to make it work. I'd go with a single screw type compression with a hex end that I could put a socket on it and use a ratchet or drill to compress it with. Just my 2 cents
