CytoSport Cyto Gainer Protein Drink Mix, Vanilla, 3.31 Pound

This is the best tasting protein powder I have tried. It mixes very easily with water and has no clumps. It is the only flavor my wife will drink. To me it beats the CytoGainer Strawberries and cream, Muscle Milk blueberry, Muscle Milk peach mango, and AfterMax vanilla shake flavors.

I really liked this product. It tastes good and was competitively priced. I tried another brand BSN True-Mass and liked that one too. I only use this for supplementing my diet so I can't comment on the effectiveness of gaining weight with the product, however, the taste is great and in comparison to my BSN TrueMass the protein per scoop is sufficient. I recommend this product.

I started purchasing this for my son as recommended by sports coaches. This was recommended above others so we have kept with it. He gets good results from this. We rotate between banana, chocolate and vanilla.

This is probably the worst flavor of the group. Horrible after-taste of plastic and chemicals when mixed with water. Disgusting.

Mass gainers in general are protein powders mixed with simple sugars, so it should not be surprising that it is overly sweet, but this particular formulation is so sweet you will not be able to take more than a cup at a time without feeling sick. Mass gainers are supposed to be made for chugging, so this is a bad thing.This will give you a sugar high and cause your insulin to spike, followed within an hour or two by lethargy. Repeat this until your insulin receptors no longer respond well to insulin and congratulations, you are diabetic!I ended up throwing mine out--I hate wasting things but apart from the nasty flavor, I felt like it was negatively affecting my health.

Cyto Gainer is a good product, have bought & use often......first time banana cream, wow!like it alot........

I was definitely drawn into the sound of "banana creme" but the flavor is exactly that of the banana from Runts candy. I was a little disappointed, but it's a nice change from vanilla and chocolate. You can shake it all you want but it does not mix- there are little clumps that float and cling to the side of my shaker. REMEDY: just let it sit for a bit. I got aggravated by it and left it alone, came back to it and it was completely dissolved. I am trying to gain weight and it appears to be helping. I like the taste of this brand.
