I bought this for the FM radio, not the Bluetooth function. During initial setup it scans for all the stations it can find (mine found about a dozen) and sets them into memory. BUT, there's no way to know what station you're on, and no way to go directly to a station. Cycling through the stations to find a good one is a big hassle (and you can't go backward, you have to cycle all the way through again), so if you plan to take a standard 5 minute or so shower this is unacceptable. If, like me, you listen to just one station habitually, then this radio works well. Tuner sensitivity could be better, standing in certain areas of the shower induced static, and after showering leaving the glass door open gave perfect reception, closing it induced some static. Of course when you touch the unit it clears right up, because your body becomes the antenna. Sound quality really is great, it's not artificially bass boosted, and not tinny. It sounds exactly as good as my small Sony CD boom box with twin 3" speakers. Balanced sound with clear vocals, great for talk radio as well as music. And more volume than you'll need. Two big pluses for me are being able to carry it around the house without having to unplug and replug (no talk show interruption), and no replacement battery cost (the boom box requires 6 C cells, and eats them up fast). If you plan to listen to various styles of music on differing stations, I definitely think you should get something with a DIGITAL tuner, LCD station readout and preset buttons, like the Amazon Recommended Sangean shower radio. Costs double, but the speed and ease of direct tuning is well worth it.

Just got my Mix hero BT 5.0 Waterproof Sport Speaker today. I really bought it so I could have some music in my office. I'm running Pandora on my Galaxy Note9, with a graphic equalizer app. The speaker is awesome. Charged quickly. Synced with my phone first try. The suction cup also doubles as an elevating stand, to allow bass to come out of the bottom sound ports. LED's in the top emit soft color changing light, not too visible during the day. The FM radio works very well. Tuning is easy. The speaker phone function is good, with great quality sound for both parties. Very pleased with this speaker. Five stars.

"Battery Low" is what this thing screams at you every 30 seconds when it gets to 40% battery. The bettery on this thing is probably the most annoying thing about itPros:-it gets decently loud and it sounds okay-nothing elseCons:-battery charge doesn't last long. Unusable w/ 40% battery left-syncing and unsyncing with bluetooth is terrible. Sometimes it won't unsync unless the phone it was connected to is near it.-its too top heavy for the suction to work properly- it's a meh product. I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it.

I rated the product 4 stars but I had to return it. It is probably great for a shower or bathroom but the title said "pool" as well. The sound is not loud enough to go 40 feet in the outdoors. And the suction is meant for a bathroom not most pool surfaces.

We use this when we go on our nightly bike rides! It's so nice to have music to listen to while riding. The sound quality is really nice and gets really loud. I like that it has FM radio, too! I would purchase again if I had to. It's a great sounding little speaker.

I needed this for a radio. The music sounds great but finding and keeping a channel is near impossible. Or I should say impossible. Have to be quick and neither my husband nor I were.

Can’t give 0 stars. Don’t waste your time. Stopped working. It turns on but no sound If I hold it up to my ear I can barely hear it. Maybe just this unit is defective but really ?? It’s after 30 days so I have to contact the company direct.

Wanted to use completely under water-I am a Lapp swimmer and was very dissatisfiedwith this product indicated works under water and it doesn't!!I do not recommend item!
