I'm impressed
Great product. Works like magic.DO NOT USE THIS ON CHEAP POLY-RESIN BALLS. IT'S FOR NICE PHENOLIC RESIN BALLS ONLY (Aramith and Brunswick Centennial).I took a set of old Brunswick Centennial balls that hadn't been properly polished for decades, to a glassy shine. Beautiful!I'm very happy with the results on my phenolic resin balls. The cleaner seems to be a gentle polishing abrasive and the restorer seems to be a more aggressive abrasive.I found that these products do not work well on cheap poly-resin balls. After polishng the cheapo 1, 2 and 3 balls, I found that my hands were stained bright orange. It's not washing off. I think I'll be stained for days. The cheap (softer resin) balls couldn't stand up to this polishing agent. The cheap balls didn't polish up to a nice shine either. I'd say, if you have cheapo balls, save your money to buy better balls instead of buying this stuff. But if you have nice phenolic resin balls, definitely get the cleaner. It's great. You won't need the restorer unless your pool balls are in rough shape and even then, it will only speed up your progress, you can probably accomplish the same shine with the cleaner alone, by putting more work into it. The restorer is convenient to have, if you need it though. Some other tips I learned for people who own the automatic electric ball polishing machines: 1. Don't put the restorer solution into a electric polishing machine. It's too aggressive for that and can damage the balls. Use the restorer by hand, when necessary only. 2. Some people dilute the cleaner with 90% rubbing alcohol in a 1:10 ratio and put it in a spray bottle, when they use it with their electric polishing machines. Shake well, spray it on the balls, toss them in the machine.

Like new
Tried to clean up a set of 3 years old balls after replacing my table cloth and couldn’t get them clean. Soaked in warm dish soap for a few minutes and scrubbed and the spots wouldn’t come out. Purchased the restorer and cleaner, pure each product in a glad freezer bag and threw a couple balls in and moved them around a bit, wiped clean with a micro fiber cloth and they look like they are brand new. Honestly don’t think I needed the restorer, the cleaner did just as good of a job on the last 6 balls without the restorer. Product works as described and I have enough left for years to come

Works good
I have a before and after pictures. It cleans them very well and polishes them adequately. This set had not been cleaned in over a year so it took some scrubbing. The smell is also pleasing

Money well spent!!
I have never, I repeat NEVER cleaned pool balls and these are 25 years old!!! After replacing my pool table felt the yellowed and chalk marked balls really bothered me so after reading the reviews I decided to try this two bottle set of restore and cleaner.I started by rubbing on the restorer with a micro fiber cloth, wiping it off and then rubbing on the cleaner/polisher and buffing off.I made a BIG mistake and did not use gloves!!! After I was done my hands absorbed the yellowing that came off the cue ball and it took 4 days to wear off!!After the cue ball I put on standard surgical type gloves…..rubbed the restorer on with my fingers (with gloves on), buffed it with a microfiber cloth and then repeated the same steps with the cleaner/ polish. It removed all of the marks and a lot but not all of the yellowing. I am super happy with the results and highly recommend this set!!!

Works like magic
These polishes are great. Just BEWARE! The restorer should only be used by hand. I built a ball cleaner with an orbital polisher in a pail and didnt realize the Restorer has grit in it. When I ran the balls through the motorized polisher with the Restorer it ruined the finish on the balls and I had to throw them out. If you use the Restorer by hand and the Ball Cleaner in the machine the balls go from dirty discolored and chalk marked to loooking brand new!
