The backs did not fit the eyes, they were way too small

The washers cannot be pressed onto the end of the eye. If you do manage to get it on, it doesn't lock into place and will easily pop off. Also the washer isn't much bigger than the eye so will easily pull through the fabric or knitting.Don't waste your money this product is not good.

Exactly what I needed for crafting projects

These safety eyes came all the way from China so I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived 2 weeks earlier than I expected. However, I was disappointed when I tried to use them. I have limited experience with safety eyes, but with others I have used the plastic washer that fits on the back usually just snaps on. These eyes came with a little tool to hold the washer in place while you use a hammer to secure the washer. This did not work at all. I even asked my husband to hammer the eyes together and he could not do it. I ended up using super glue to place the eyes in the 4 inch doll I made for my 5 year old (a birthday gift). I would not feel comfortable using these eyes on a doll for any other child as I'm not confident the eye would stay in place and would be afraid the child may choke on it. I made it very clear to my daughter not to put the eyes in her mouth. Oh well, they were very inexpensive so ...... I would not recommend these safety eyes.

The backs don’t fit the eyes. I was able to get a few to work after forcing a metal rod through a few backs.

I'm unable to use these, as they do not fit together. I also thought I ordered more than I got, but what I ordered and what the paperwork says are not the same. If you need safety eyes, go to anyone other than this supplier.
