I have found a great shoe for restaurant service!
I am extremely happy I took a chance on these Keen shoes. I had never heard of the brand, but had certain criteria, slip resistance being a must. These shoes are comfortable out of the box, and have gotten better with wear. I love the wide toe bed not cramping my feet. They are so comfortable, I find I'm wearing them on my days off. The construction and leather are high quality. Best of all, they are polishable and slip-resistant. I will definitely be ordering these again for service.

Get them because I told you so.
I work in the restaurant industry. $100 may seem high but I work 60hrs a week and these shoes last at least one to two years depending on position. So would you rather buy cheap uncomfortable shoes every 3 months or this???Slick/Oil resistantLong lasting (don't drag your feet like a lazy douchebag; it doesn't make you cool)Very comfy but you may want to purchase SoftSole Inserts for more arch support (i did)I have wide somewhat flat feet so Keens are great for wide feet!

Best for the kitchen so far
I don’t think I’ve found a shoe this good for long hours on my feet in the 18 years I’ve spent on concrete and tile floors in kitchens and retail. My body is all kinds of messed up from it and honestly a podiatrist is in my near future. Getting back to work after a long time out during the pandemic was a huge wake up call for my feet though…Being back on those hard hard floors, I was in excruciating pain every day and night. Heel? Stabbing pain. Midfoot? As though it were full of broken glass. Toes? Broken. All radiating through my calves, ankles, knees, up to my back. My days off were spent hobbling around. MISERY.No shoe will totally solve what concrete and tile will do.No shoe facing 30 or more hours a week of abuse can be expected to truly hold up for more than a year. They will start to hurt your feet even before the shoe fails externally. It just makes sense given what a shoe is vs all 200 lbs of me.But I am feeling a lot better in these than in my worn out blundstones (and better than when they were new, too). Only a little pain. I have much of my life back. I actually do things on my feet outside of work.I’ve tried Hokas, they hurt and I didn’t like my foot not bending. Danskos, Birkenstock clogs—both HARD no. Mozos, fell apart. Shoes for crews…lol. These keens just have a list of nice support especially in the heel, but my foot can still bend. They don’t have that typical clog thing going on where your foot has to work to keep them on, they just feel like a shoe. I didn’t experience them as tight across the top of my foot which is sometimes a thing and I LOVE the room in the toe. No break in period with these which is great. I do not have time to be in pain.I see what others mean about the slip resistance but to be honest I have never fully trusted a slip resistant shoe and I move with caution. The right shoe has a little questionable assembly where the rubber toe and leather meet, but I decided to keep them knowing how many returns wind up in landfills.I’d buy these again when they wear out.

Great for the medical field
These shoes are great for work in the medical field, all fluids are easily cleaned off when wiped down with the purple top wipes, you fellow medical folks know which ones I’m talking about

Have not found a better clog yet
I have oddly-shaped feet and so it has been a challenge to find a pair of shoes that are fluid-proof and comfortable while still leaving enough room for my toes. These shoes are finally it.Compared to Danskos, these are softer and have a shorter heel, so you're less likely to twist your ankle while walking quickly.Calzuros are narrower and harder.Birkenstock rubber clogs don't fit my feet well, and are harder.Wouldn't mind a slight little bit more room in these Keens for my big toe but it is OK as is. I anticipate as the leather continues to break in, these shoes will get even more comfortable. As these are made of leather, you can't sterilize them in the same way you would rubber clogs. Also, as they are made of leather, they keep my feet warm.

Had to cut them to get them to fit
I loved the previous version of this shoe. They had the elastic on both sides and I have wide feet so I really liked how the slip ons fit. I wore them out completely. So when I went to order a new pair, the only thing available was version 2 which only has a small piece of elastic on 1 side. They were way too tight across the top of my foot, cutting off circulation to my toes.I took them to a shoe repair shop and had them stretched to the max they could go ($10). I got them back and tried to convince myself that they were better but they weren’t.I ordered a thin pair of insoles ($35) they brought my foot down a little, but not enough.Ok, last resort time. I used a scalpel to extend the “stretch area” of the elastic and oh boy do they feel great. So the only way to have these shoes fit correctly is to do irreparable damage to them.Bring back version 1. Version 2 are too tight.

Comfortable shoes
I really like there shoes. I work as a chef and I'm on my feet for hours on end. They're comfortable and don't wear out too fast. It's important to note that they STRETCH a lot! Order a half size smaller. They feel very tight at first but after a week or two they'll be stretched out.My biggest complaint is that the inserts wear out too fast. They peel up at the back of the heel. Maybe it's the way I stand/walk. I always put superfeet in mine anyway.
