bought these cuz my pup likes to grab and chew on the leash. Its cheaper to keep buying these than buy a nice new leash.

Just clip and go. The extension worked as i thought.

My dog loves putting his head outside the car window when driving. He is a small dog (about 15 lbs) so he sits in a doggie seat, and the lead that attaches to his harness from the seat is way too short for him to stand up and put his head out the window. This extension is perfect! Also, the extension lets the pup move around in the seat without getting tangled as he did often without the extension! The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is it would have been nice if the extension was adjustable to different lengths. Extremely happy with the product. Ruff Ruff!!!

We don't use this as an extension, we use it as a safety lead between the no pull halter and the normal collar.While our dog has never gotten out of the halter ,I think he could. This has enough slack to let the halter work, and gives us piece of mind that if he did slip out, we're still connected to his collar.

As a 6'2" guy a 6' lead gets a little short for me, especially if I'm walking a smaller breed. With my papillon this was absolutely necessary. With my viszla/border collie mix (~37 lbs) it's not as necessary, but is absolutely fantastic as a short lead for leaving on in the car when traveling. It gives my doggo just a bit more leeway on pit stops, too.

Another well made product by Sarah Hodgson. Great for giving our puppy a little extra room to move when I use Hodgson’s teaching lead/belt/leash.

Not much to it. You either need one, in which case this works well, or you don't. I like it fine. It will hold up being tugged by my 35 lb. dog.
