The BAP Handbook: The Official Guide to the Black American Princess

I thought this book was an extremely funny and cute light read. I read it over and over. This is a great gift for a newly wed who is ready to start to a family and plan for her babies future or a high school junior/senior looking into "acceptable BAP colleges". However, the book was published around 2001 so some of the material(as in hip clothing basics and stores) is a tad bit dated. Overall this is a good summer read.

I do not know what the problem was.I'll tell you straight out that after reading this book, I know that I want to work for a BAP!E-mail me privately if you want to know what my impressions are on each of the four BAP-types and how I think I'd "fit in" with them.Thank you.

I really enjoyed this book. It is great for WOC and young WOC.

I didn’t like the tests and scenarios of each kind of BAP. It got boring.

This was a gift to someone very dear to my heart. This book is like new with no tears or frills and it arrived as promised and the quality was as noted on the site.

I finished this book in one day. It is funny and not meant to be taken seriously, although there are a lot of truths in this book.

I purchased for pure entertainment only. It was interesting reading about the various levels of BAPdom.
