Sun JVP-101A Submersible Circulation Powerhead Pump, 800 GPH, Black

I just wanted to leave a review on this, although it gave out after 3 years, it worked fantastic. The way it was made was great. My turtle is very active and often tries to pry the suction off of the glass on these so it was my turtles fault for this pumps shortened life, i am SUPER Greatful for how it was made, because the part where the plug goes in to the fan came off in the water while it was plugged in on the other end, and thank God she didn't get electrocuted, so just want to say, GREAT product and yes this was a good buy.

Perfect for the price , they are what you would expect . powerful enough for my 55gal.i purchased another one with more power and a higher price , that was a mistake the new one is not as powerful and very noisy .ypu can't go wrong with this one , been using it close a year now. With no problems at all ..and I have one in my 125 and its enough to create o2 in my water also keeps things moving very happy

A good performer and a good value, espec. Adheres to tank wall very well if the glass is cleaned with a razor blade. I like the way the impeller chops up smaller pieces of shrimp and raw fish. Very good wavemaker when angled up towards surface and you still get good circulation on the bottom. Floating and broken pieces of Caulerpa tend to get stuck at the intake grids so you will have to shut it down and clean the grids once in a while. Very quiet, I cannot tell when it is running. Setting up a new 20 gallon aquarium for pods and misc. corals so I will be ordering two more.

Fantastic pumps for the money. They run at 10 watts of power for me, not the 6 they claim. Only thing I would improve is make the holes in the front smaller, if you don't run it 24/7 then small fish can enter into the housing. I like to have mine on a timer because it picks up plant leaves and other debris, and then will drop it when off. Nice and quiet.

Too powerful for my aquarium and a little loud. My fish looks stressed out. I'm not using it in this aquarium. Maybe it'll work better in a bigger tank. I recommend this product it does what it's advertised for. Thumbs up!!!!! Coming back for a second review. I decided to try it for a few weeks and I can't barely hear the noise that it was making the first 2 days.🤷Honestly, my fishes love it. I recommend this device. It gets the job done. ✅

Good product as far a fan for my aquarium and would keep it but the suction cups and the lever that is pulled down is ineffective in securing it back on the inside of the aquarium after a while. worked good for almost a year but will not attach to the inside of aquarium and not sure how to fix it and so canceled reorder and ordered a different one with a magnet on the outside of aquarium to hold it. If the suction cups could be fixed would not have to order a different one. NOT sure if it can be returned and a new one reissued or money back since I have had it work as long as it did. The price is pretty good but want one that I don't have to replace after a while

I put one in my 125gallon turtle tank. There were dead spots that collected debris. I point this baby at these spots and it keeps things moving so it makes it to the filter intake. Now the tank is cleaner longer. Puts out a lot of force without disturbing my turtles, they seem to spend more time in the water now; almost like it’s soothing to them. Anyway, So glad I got it!

Don’t get this if your worried about noise... I keep my tank in my living room and the moment I plugged this thing in, I knew it wasn’t for me. Maybe it’s defective, but either way, I’m returning it and getting something different. It is also very large…puts out decent power for a 125g but man it’s bulky and ugly.
