LorAnn Oils Maple Bakery Emulsion: True Essence, Ideal for Boosting Fruit Tones in Cakes, Cookies & Desserts, Gluten-Free, Keto-Friendly, Extract Substitute Essential for Your Kitchen, 4 Oz

I use LorAnn Oil Emulsion for all of my baking, which is a lot of bulk baking. There is Nothing better!! The concentration and longevity of the flavors are amazing!!! The smell of all of them are just as amazing as the taste!!!

Smells yummy, perfect for baking deserts

I bought the maple, hazelnut, and brown butter flavors. All three are in the trash. Upon opening the bottle you are hit with a strong chemical smell, similar to that of plastic that needs to air out. The taste is just as bad. I tried 2 of the three and had to throw my baked goods away as they dominated the flavor (I had hoped it would just leave the flavor profile) with that chemical taste and you could still smell the chemical smell. I love to bake and have never experienced anything like this. No idea what these are actually made from but these are truly horrible!

I use this my baking needs.

UPDATE: I used this in my homemade maple bourbon walnut oatmeal cookie recipe and it was a huge hit with everyone. Some people said I needed to open a cookie business or sell at our farmer's market (if only it was that easy). This was my 3rd attempt on perfecting the cookie and I hit a homer over the wall. I did make a couple other changes other than switching maple extract/emulsion but I do not think I can gamble switching extract/emulsion now since I -- hit a homer over the wall. I am a huge fan of maple and especially Canadian dark maple syrup. So, I am always trying out new maple products. I like that this has some natural ingredients along with artificial ones. As usual, with extracts, they are not delicious to the taste when I gave it the finger dip taste test. The coloring is an off-white appearance. It has a thicker texture than the usual dark colored extracts I have used in the past of varying flavors. I tried it out in my morning oat bran/almond butter/walnut/maple shake. I used about a TSP of my Canadian dark maple syrup and a TSP of this emulsion. I do not know how much impact the "water-based emulsion" has in smoothies versus baked goods, but I enjoyed this emulsion. It's nice that they are SQF certified as I always like to see manufacturers being open to having their facilities inspected to ensure everything is as it should be. I plan to bake "Maple Walnut Oat Cookies" fairly soon and I will update this review once I do so. The price is fair for the size.

This maple flavor is now my go to for baking! It’s thick, it’s great tasting. I have it stocked always!

We have tried a number of these flavorings. They are stonger than store bought ones, and seem to need to use a bit less than normal. The flavor has no weird taste or aftertaste. Great quality product.

Excellent produit keto bon goût

Having an extract means being able to make maple syrup from scratch, as sweet or not as I want. Good for emergency, and good for restricted diets. (Good amount justifies the cost.)

Fast delivery and arrived well packaged

I love this extract. I use it in my maple walnut sourdough granola. It is a game changer. This is the only place I found it. A little goes a long ways.
