*UPDATE*I received a replacement that works great! I must say that it charges at a good speed but about 20% of the time, it won’t detect your phone to charge it. Other than that, no complaints. Someone asked me if it was worth the money, and my answer is yes! A device that charges your phone through the desk without having to modify your desk is what I needed and this device accomplished that 👌🏽. There is another company working on a similar device and I’ll be testing that one out as well. They are claiming to be the first to do it, but they just started production on their product, so technically they are 2nd.*Initial Review*Once I received my unit and set it up by following the directions, it turned on and charged my phone for about 30 seconds before it stopped working. I unplugged the unit and replugged it in, and it worked for 30 seconds again, then stopped. Maybe my unit is faulty, but I’ll have to send it back and get a refund because they’re out if stock at the moment. I’ll try a different solution, but i’m happy I didn’t have to drill into my desk for this faulty unit. but to just make my review simple, IT JUST DIDNT WORK! Awesome idea though, time to get it to be functional.

My desk is about 22mm thick and with the pad on top, it seems to work fine. There’s a beep to indicate when the charger is working. It originally came with two black circle top and when I mention in the Q&A that I was wondering where to get a white top so that it matched my white surface, the company rep actually contacted me. Wow! Showing my proof of purchase from Amazon, they sent me the white tops that you see on the pics.Cons: it’s not a fast charger, but that’s because of the table thickness. It varies depending on how thin your surface is. Also sometimes it takes time to warm up before it works. Like I would have lifted up and placed my phone back down a few times before it starts charging. Other times it’s immediate. But I’m still happy with it and can live with it occurring once in a while.

Works as advertised. Charges through my 30mm thick wooden desk. Does require the top pad (not reliable without it) but given there's no other solutions on the market except shady kickstarter products this is a great solution to adding qi charging without having to damage the structure of the furniture. Finally feels like true wireless charging since the surface of my desk can remain wire free and I can rest my phone and charge while I workDoes make a loud beeping noise every time it is connected which isn't optimal but certainly not a deal breaker

Followed instructions. Installed mat on desk and charger underneath. Does not work. Moved phone all around mat to see if a different placement will work. No joy. I do not recommend

Works great! Cleared up space on my desk too! Just slide your phone on the mat and it starts charging.

If you backed the Archon wireless charger on Kickstarter, this is what you received. Except you paid an extra $20 to get a different logo on the desktop pad. Technically it works, but half the time it doesn't register the first time I set my phone down on the pad. Often my phone will overheat after charging about 5% and wireless charging will disconnect. Not worth what I paid and not worth the Amazon price. Avoid this.

I received the charger and we installed as instructions indicated and DID NOT work with our Galaxy S8 as advertised...

I purchased this and it failed after 20min. Great idea but does not work
