Great for teacher young children metaphors and similes

I stumbled upon these for my 3rd graders! They love them too! I sometimes begin a lesson by reading aloud and then they are left out for reference for the the students to look at! They are used all the time!

This entire series is great! Teachers who teach figurative language in the elemnetary and lower middle grades will want this book in their classroom or library. A fun and humorous way to learn about metaphors and similes! The illustrations are always an added bonus!

I love all of Brian Cleary's informative books. This one is another clever helpful addition to the classroom. I can't wait to see what else he has.

Some definitions a little confusing

Not worth. Just a few examples of similes and that's all.

Any book that inspires the children is great in my opinion. This worked a treat. Well done and buy with confidence.
