DK Workbooks: Language Arts, Pre-K: Learn and Explore

I have used multiple DK Workbooks for multiple grade levels. I thus purchased DK Workbooks: Language Arts, Pre-K to use during our second years of preschool lessons. The 60-page workbook includes activities on upper and lower case letters, rhyming, simple reading exercises, and other fundamentals of language arts. The activities provided additional practice on topics that my children had previously learned. However, like all DK workbooks, the pages are glossy, which makes writing in the workbook more difficult. I found that copying the pages onto regular paper made completing the activities easier for my preschoolers.

I love these workbooks for my son. They are beautifully designed and aligned with the Common Core Standards. The workbooks are sequenced to allow students to progress according to the standards that are expected for their age and\or grade level.Negative: Paper-quality. I find that the high quality magazine paper that is used for the workbook is difficult to write on. I would of preferred if this workbook was printed on regular workbook quality paper, so that the child can easily write his responses in the book with a pencil.

These are excellent learning work books for my two-year-old to start with not only are they excellent but I can do a second round with them next year when she is actually in pre-K instead of preschool perfect double curriculums back to back

Nice books, our 4 year old daughter was very interested in all of these work books, geography and science were her favorites. She was so busy going from book to book she didn't want to take the time to put on stars. Nice to see children wanting to learn, you will have to give them instructions, although they can figure a lot out on their own as they progress

I like the content of the books. The pages, however are awful. It is incredibly hard to erase if the child makes a mistake on these glossy pages and forget about using markers, they smear, even permanent.

This is a great product for helping your preschool aged toddler, especially those who stay at home, get ready for school.

Omg I love these workbooks, I do 2 pages with my daughter everyday, she is almost done.

Love the contents, but the pages are slick and my 4 year old found it hard to write on.
