I recently built a large station for a new Bosch Glide miter saw -- the station's base has two cabinets each incorporating 4 large drawers on full-extension slides. The saw provides quite a bit of vibration which was causing the drawers to drift open. Because of the ever-present sawdust, I didn't want to use any kind of mechanical drawer latches. These magnetic catches are small, very straightforward to install, and provide a surprising amount of holding force. I used the included screws to fasten them in place them rather than relying on the adhesive pads. Installing these isn't rocket science, but it does require at least a modicum of basic hand and tool skills. My cabinets and drawer fronts are all made of 3/4" cabinet-grade plywood. I located the magnet and striker plates by eye, traced out the mounting holes, and then drilled 1/16" pilot holes for the screws. The screws went in smoothly and hold tightly, the magnets engage with the matching plates with a pleasing metallic click, and release with just the right amount of firm pull. A good, simple product that does what it promises at a very reasonable price.

We have some custom built in file cabinets in various areas of our home. Unfortunately, the slides are such that most of them creep open, especially when not full enough. Rather than pull out and adjust the slide angle, I went with these magnets as a solution. I'm very pleased with the results. they hold quite strongly and are fairly thin. They do cause the drawer face to stick out ever so slightly, so one may want to consider mounting them on both sides of the drawer or getting bumpers for the opposite side if little wobble with bother them. I haven't used screws at this point as the sticky pad is holding well enough to work. Time will tell on that one. The only real con for this relates to the adhesive pads. It is quite difficult to peel off the backing. Also, some of them were stuck together and got a bit stretched and mangled in the process.

Works pretty well, used it to keep a trash drawer closed. Wore out after about 1 year. Could be a little thinner. But for the money, not a bad product.

They are exactly as advertised. These are small and thin. Even with that they have a very powerful magnet. It comes with two sets. Each set consisting of one metal plate, on magnetic metal plate, four screws and each plate also has adhesive sticky pads. I think you could probably get away with just using the sticky pads although I did go ahead and use the four screws. I was using it for a nightstand with a door that wouldn't stay shut. It works great and holds the door closed. Also it looks good as the design is so flat. It's not even noticeable that they're there. Even though they are a powerful magnet it is not too hard to open either. The company got this one just right. Would buy again if I need to. Highly recommend.

I purchased these because many of the hinges on my Ikea kitchen cabinets had "sprung" and about four cabinets would not stay closed. Replacing those hinges were cost prohibitive and too much effort when I am planning to replace the cabinets in the future. These thin little magnets solved my issue, they were affordable and I just screwed them in and voila! Cabinets that STAY closed. Recommend for a quick fix, for sure.

They worked perfectly for what I needed. They are not supper strong. Our cabinets are old & wouldn’t stay closed. We would have to put a rubber band/hair tie around both knobs to keep it shut. My husband (he won’t believe that I actually gave him credit for it lol) had the great idea to add some magnets to the cabinet. So here we are! Definitely would purchase again. These were the smallest ones. & the way our cabinet doors are, they had to be put on a little off center. So that is contributing to power of the magnets. Because they are not fully touching when closed. But we have NO MORE rubber band/hair tie, & that makes me HAPPY! Happy Wife Happy Life!

Finally, after more than two years our traumatized adopted 4 year-old cat has now become part of the family, but unfortunately has also accomplished learning how to open the cat food drawer for her treats. Um .. No.. that's not permitted, kitty. But these ultra-thin but amazingly strong magnets have put an end to that little trick. Installed them both in under 5 minutes and TA-DA! ... No more kitty playing hockey with 6 ounce food cans in the bottom of their food drawer, which of course we could hear from a floor away. Which is cute, sure, but not at 2 am... Thin enough to be nearly invisible when the drawer is closed, but strong enough to 'defeat' this little devil. Just what was needed.

These have proven to be a very handy purchase. I like the idea of the option given, I could screw them into the places required or I can stick them down with sticky pads (both screws and self-adhesive tape are provided). I had a concern over the sticky pads, the concern was unfounded, these pads seem to stick to anything. I have no worries of these coming off the door and frame. I like the idea of not needing to get the tools out anymore. I have a little store cupboard and I’ve installed these on both sides of the door so when it closes, it stays closed, the other on the outside to keep it open. The pads are highly adhesive but they need to be because the magnets are very powerful. Priced just right and does a perfect professional job. 10/10 Highly recommend them.
